i'll be honest, i thought it would be dwight or bust anyways

go ahead and laugh guys, but what im saying is i didnt even think the lakers would go after paul. go ahead and say "lakers wont get dwight" but dont act like they wont try

but nola, dont act like bynum isnt attractive. he's a 20/10 guy on the hornets or magic easily
Bynum has played in just 66% of the games in his career, 62% over the last four seasons.

That frankly scares the crap out of me.

Yeah I love the game, that part is attractive.

His injury history though, I would close my eyes everytime he goes for a rebound or loose ball.

What’s more, the Chicago Bulls are still a sleeper for Howard, several league executives believe. “Chicago may tell Orlando to take any two players – or three – besides Rose,” one GM said. Howard isn’t keen on the cold weather, but the Bulls would have the best point guard-center combination since Magic and Kareem.

The Bulls have Omar Asik developing fast as a potential replacement for Joakim Noah should the Bulls include Noah in a package. Noah would have to be a part of it, but would a combination of Noah and Luol Deng or Carlos Boozer – bringing back Howard and one of those bad Orlando contracts – be enough?

Yeah Rose and Dwight wouldn't make that great of a match.

Obviously with them being premier talents in the league they'd be able to coexist, but if Dwight got with a guy like CP or Deron the sky would be the limit.

It's hard to find good matches with non traditional PGs.

Dwight's ideal PG would be a pass first one, like Rondo or Nash. CP3 and Deron would be good too, just not as IMO. Rose and Westbrook are not good types for Dwight.

Jason Kapono is visiting the practice facility of the Lakers for a free agent visit, according to sources.

Kapono was most recently with the Sixers.

The Rockets, Celtics and Mavericks have told the Hornets that they are prepared to trade for Chris Paul without an assurance that he would sign a long-term deal.

Boston is believed to have the best potential offer out of those three teams since they would include Rajon Rondo.

Those so-called gambling teams would almost certainly beat any deal that the Knicks could offer, even though they are widely presumed to be Paul's preferred destination.
You can add Golden State to that list, and possibly Atlanta.

Chris Broussards "sources", and I use the term sources lightly, tell him the Lakers are serious about trading for Chris Paul and Dwight Howard together.

Next week his sources are going to tell us the Mavericks like Kevin Durant, and will trade anyone for him.

The Lakers won't get both Howard and Paul, it just isn't happening.

But if it did, I'd probably say fuck the NBA. The entire lockout would have been a waste, competitive balance my ass.

Probballdraft: For those wondering the appeal for New Orleans or Orlando acquiring Odom would be to turn around & flip him for more assets not keep him.
this makes me believe it's a ploy to get one of the teams to cave and take a deal
"if you dont take it, the other guys will"

food for thought i guess
lets not act like pau, bynum and odom arent great players

teams are saying they'd be willing to rent paul or dwight, but i dont buy it. and if they do, will they give up a great amount?

CP and Dwight would be locks to sign an extension. could almost force their way by scaring the other teams like melo did

Bynum and Odom, great players? I wouldn't toss around great that easily. Most people would debate Pau isn't great either, but I would have had him as the #1 PF in the NBA if not for Dirk's post-season run.
