The Lions are the most undisciplined piece of shit team I've ever seen. I hope all the Lions fans see this and TRY to defend them.

If there was one dude I had a free punch to the face to right now. It would be Nate Burleson. Dude has done some many dumb penalties this year its so fuckin insane. Its embarrassing. And CC we know that were undisciplined, it aint that hard to see. I know I havent said we were. This game would've been a shit ton closer if it wasn't for dumb ass Burleson, Pettigrew, Logan(who needs to be cut) and Young.

Got to say though, Stafford had a helluva game. He's been playing great this year.

David, still think Pettegrew>Gronkowski?
I said Pettigrew is a better blocker then Gronk. Gronk is the better overall TE I know that. And that was way before this season. I thought pettigrew was gonna have a huge year but he hasn't. There you happy? Seems like all you try to do is bring up old shit. fuck off.

I just find it embarassing to the league that a coach like Schwartz condones this type of behavior.

The Cowboys lost this week, it actually keeps the Giants alive for a playoff spot. Giants face the Cowboys next week and we are down 1 game in the standings.

Damn.

Since 2003, the Patriots are 33-5 in December.

One of those losses was in 09 vs HOU, when Welker got injured and we kept on taking out Brady to save his health.
And the other four have all been by Miami.

I don't think the Lions will let him play Sunday regardless and he should just take the suspension and move along with it, they aren't going to reduce it & the Lions also have to take some kind of accountability with his actions so if he does indeed appeal it, Schwartz should still bench him for the game, it will send a point. But, I'm sure they'd want him to play, we'll see.

That's not the kind of team we are lol.
If Suh appeals the suspension, he is going to play lol.

That sends a horrible message to the team, who even a lot of his teammates want him suspended. To do something like that and then let him play the following week sends the wrong message, if that's the case, Jim Schwartz really doesn't have any control of the team and any team discipline, if that's the case, the Lions will be in trouble for a long time if things like this keep happening, you can't keep letting it happen and letting someone play under those circumstances, just sends the wrong message.

Schwartz has control over the team. Has nothing to do with lack on control on his part.
It is just apparent he likes the bad boy imagine and is doing what he can to embrace it.

The "bad boy" imagine isn't helping them whatsoever, if anything it's hurting them as a team. If the coach doesn't do anything about things like this, it tells me he doesn't coach disciplined football and you need to be a disciplined team to win games in the NFL, especially against big teams. You cannot have your best players getting thrown out of the game and extending drives because of stupid penalties, you simply can't have it and the Head Coach needs to take some responsibility for it. I'm willing to bet that the Lions are one of the most penalized teams in the NFL, stuff like that reflects back on the coaching. I like Schwartz but he does need to take some control and show that things that happened like what Suh did, will not be tolerated as it only hurt the team.

It is only Suh lol.
You act like the whole team is doing whatever they want with no regards.

Suh has this incident, and maybe 1 more actual penalty this year that was dumb.
And maybe one stupid penalty from another player.

Other than that, I don't really know what you are going on here.

The Lions are ranked 28th in the NFL in penalties averaging nearly 8 penalties per game, that is a problem. I'm pretty sure that just one player doesn't make up for all of their penalties. That's what I'm talking about.

San Francisco gets .1 less than we do a game. And are 9-2.

Is it a problem there?

Come playoff time, yeah it will be. Can't play good teams and beat them by shooting yourself in the foot all of the time. I still stand by what I said, Schwartz needs to show he's in charge of the team like he has in the past. He can't be scared to discipline a player whose been hurting the team. You just can't win big games with things like this, it's always been a problem for Detroit, penalties that is. 49ers are a completely different team than the Lions. They are an all around built team and have a little more room for error.

I wouldn't be embarrassed of a team in the playoff hunt in a pretty tough division. Young teams commit dumb penalties.

It was just the penalties we gave up. So dumb, and just embarrassing.

I'm over it though. Every other team lost today, so we aren't screwed.

On to next week.

They can beat the Vikings and Chargers.. Raiders won't be easy, especially at Oakland but they have a chance there. They can win 3/4, that's if they play smart.

I know. I still think we will get in. Especially with the injuries in Chicago.

I'm not fretting over here yet.
