ESPN.com - Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh is expected to be suspended at least two games for shoving Packers offensive lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith's head and stomping on him, according to league sources.

The NFL has not determined exactly how long Suh will be suspended, but league officials believe two games will be the minimum.

The league also could require Suh attend anger management courses.

Some Teammates Want Suh Suspended

Jason La Canfora/NFL Network - There are some players in the Detroit locker room that want to see defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh suspended for his actions against the Packers on Thanksgiving.

"The interesting thing, there are people in his own locker room that think it's called for," writes Jason La Canfora of the NFL Network.

It has been reported that Suh will be suspended for at least two games by the NFL

he does deserve this. probably could have been three games. i think this will start the "collapse" of the team.

If we lose the game it won't be because it got easier from the loss of Suh, it will be our other multiple injuries to our starters.

Or the Lions just suck..... I hate the excuse of injuries, it has always been the scapegoat for fans.

Yeah we suck. lol.
Wasn't making an excuse, I was just letting him know that the loss of Suh isn't as bad as our other losses.

Saints are better than the Lions even when they are healthy.

By the way nola, Suh is more than likely going to play against the Saints.
If he is suspended he just has to appeal the suspension and he will be able to play in the game.

I don't think the Lions will let him play Sunday regardless and he should just take the suspension and move along with it, they aren't going to reduce it & the Lions also have to take some kind of accountability with his actions so if he does indeed appeal it, Schwartz should still bench him for the game, it will send a point. But, I'm sure they'd want him to play, we'll see.

That sends a horrible message to the team, who even a lot of his teammates want him suspended. To do something like that and then let him play the following week sends the wrong message, if that's the case, Jim Schwartz really doesn't have any control of the team and any team discipline, if that's the case, the Lions will be in trouble for a long time if things like this keep happening, you can't keep letting it happen and letting someone play under those circumstances, just sends the wrong message.

Schwartz has control over the team. Has nothing to do with lack on control on his part.
It is just apparent he likes the bad boy imagine and is doing what he can to embrace it.
