Schwartz has control over the team. Has nothing to do with lack on control on his part.
It is just apparent he likes the bad boy imagine and is doing what he can to embrace it.
The "bad boy" imagine isn't helping them whatsoever, if anything it's hurting them as a team. If the coach doesn't do anything about things like this, it tells me he doesn't coach disciplined football and you need to be a disciplined team to win games in the NFL, especially against big teams. You cannot have your best players getting thrown out of the game and extending drives because of stupid penalties, you simply can't have it and the Head Coach needs to take some responsibility for it. I'm willing to bet that the Lions are one of the most penalized teams in the NFL, stuff like that reflects back on the coaching. I like Schwartz but he does need to take some control and show that things that happened like what Suh did, will not be tolerated as it only hurt the team.

It is only Suh lol.
You act like the whole team is doing whatever they want with no regards.

Suh has this incident, and maybe 1 more actual penalty this year that was dumb.
And maybe one stupid penalty from another player.

Other than that, I don't really know what you are going on here.

The Lions are ranked 28th in the NFL in penalties averaging nearly 8 penalties per game, that is a problem. I'm pretty sure that just one player doesn't make up for all of their penalties. That's what I'm talking about.

San Francisco gets .1 less than we do a game. And are 9-2.

Is it a problem there?

Lions DT Ndamukong Suh called NFL commissioner Roger Goodell last night to apologize for his behavior during Detroit's loss to Green Bay.

Come playoff time, yeah it will be. Can't play good teams and beat them by shooting yourself in the foot all of the time. I still stand by what I said, Schwartz needs to show he's in charge of the team like he has in the past. He can't be scared to discipline a player whose been hurting the team. You just can't win big games with things like this, it's always been a problem for Detroit, penalties that is. 49ers are a completely different team than the Lions. They are an all around built team and have a little more room for error.

Anyways, dudes a dirty player.. its obvious.. Lion fans need to stop backing him and saying that he isn't.

Its becoming laughable, we get it.. you love the Lions. Stevie Wonder knows hes a dirty player for christ sakes.
