The "bad boy" imagine isn't helping them whatsoever, if anything it's hurting them as a team. If the coach doesn't do anything about things like this, it tells me he doesn't coach disciplined football and you need to be a disciplined team to win games in the NFL, especially against big teams. You cannot have your best players getting thrown out of the game and extending drives because of stupid penalties, you simply can't have it and the Head Coach needs to take some responsibility for it. I'm willing to bet that the Lions are one of the most penalized teams in the NFL, stuff like that reflects back on the coaching. I like Schwartz but he does need to take some control and show that things that happened like what Suh did, will not be tolerated as it only hurt the team.Schwartz has control over the team. Has nothing to do with lack on control on his part.
It is just apparent he likes the bad boy imagine and is doing what he can to embrace it.
