Bengals were fucked over several times today. Awful officiating.

I'm none too happy about it. As far as I'm concerned, that was by far worse than the Calvin Johnson play last year. How is that NOT a TD? He never even lost full control of the ball. Had two feet in, ball got over the pi-line and held onto it. I don't know what a catch is anymore, it had a severe outcome on the game, however.

Every week now, you've been saying "its the WRs fault doe"

Its not. At this point in time, Gabbert is not good at all. He is the worst starting quarterback in the National Football league.


All this shit about the Jags having a terrible passing attack lies on Gabbert, not the WRs.



Lets look at the Tennessee Titans.

Damian Williams? Nate Washington? Craig Stevens? And Chris "I didnt stay in shape during my holdout so I suck" Johnson?

Jason Hill is better than Williams. Supposedly Wallace is better than Washington, and Deion Branch (which is STILL funny), Lewis> Stevens, MJD>CJ

Yet how come, with this inferior recieving core, Matt Hasselback is 10th in the league in passer rating? Its because Hasselback is a good quarterback, and Gabbert is not.


Gabbert certaintly was not bad today, throwing for 210 yards and not throwing a pick. But he had 0 TD passes, and threw 41 passes on a 53% completion percentage. Colt McCoy, in comparison, threw for 199 yds on 24 passes, at a 71% completion percentage. Cleveland doesnt have great recievers; its just rookie Greg Little pretty much. And Colt isnt a great QB either. Gabbert isnt good right now.

I personally believe that Gabbert is the worst starting QB in the league right now. Worse than Sanchez, worse than Tebow. I even believe that the Jags would be better of with Tebow than with Gabbert.


So go ahead, and try to refute everything I said. Go out and say, we'll get Blackmon and then Gabbert will show how good he is. idc, defenses will double JB, and Gabbert will still suck.

He had 9 dropped passes today including a right in the hands TD catch from Jason Hill with :08 Seconds left in the Game. All the people you listed can get separation, the only person on the Jags that can actually play good enough WR is Marcedes Lewis and ever since he got his fat contract, hes sucked big ole donkey dick. Before the last drive, (you know, when it was like :40 seconds left with 1 timeout, all we could do was pass) Gabbert was 21/28. Yep. Keep hating. What you don't know about Gabbert. He literally has no WR's. Mike Thomas has been non-existent and in the first 9 games of the year Gabbert has the toughest defensive schedule in the league.

Like I said, Keep hating. Today he showed alot of promise and had a couple of good drives with nobody. I didn't say he was great, he's better than Tebow and its Sunday, I've talked about Tebow all damn weekend long and I'm personally tired of talking about him, so I'm not even going to debate that. I have no regrets with selecting Gabbert #10 overall. Once we put the weapons around him, with a new coaching staff.. He'll blossom.. and you'll be looking like the usual dumbfuck everybody else here already thinks you are.

You're right. He still had his hand grasping the ball when he hit the ground. The ball never left his hand. That has gotta be one of the worst calls ever.

It annoys me because I can see it moved JUUUUST a little bit, but there are times when the officials see a TD catch, the receiver hits the ground, ball pops out, and they dont reverse it because the whole rule, like, has no definition. There's no FULL understanding about the rule.

I swear if that happens on a normal play, they call it a catch. But because it's in the endzone for some reason the same rules don't apply.

That was not a catch by Gresham. The ball moved and then he had to roll it into his body on the ground to try and complete the catch.

Thats like saying a RB runs 25 yards, leaps at the 1 yard line, hits the ground in the endzone and the ball comes out, and its not a TD -- but the way the rules are, it's still a TD. He had possession, hits ground, ball comes out. Its a retarded rule that needs to be fixed.

The ground can't cause a fumble, you have to have possession all the way through the catch and when you hit the ground for a completion. Totally different then that example. Not to mention once the ball crosses the plane in the end zone as a runner, its a touchdown.

I understand what the rules say but the rules suck and need to be changed. And everyone knows it. They used to say You have possession if you make a "football move". But when they couldn't define it, it became a grey area. Nobody knows wtf its supposed to be now. If you have the ball, in 1 hand, you cross the plane, hit the ground, and the ball comes out, that should be a fumble. But the ground cant cause the fumble, so it's fine. Theres no reason why it shouldn't apply the same to receivers as it does running backs.

Its about a difference in opinions as to when the receiver has possession of the ball. In my mind, he had possession of the ball, and in that scenario if the ball comes out, the "ground cannot cause fumble" rule applies.

PS. I have seen at least once this year, the same scenario that Calvin Johnson had last year, and after review they ruled it a TD. So there's not a clear-enough definition of the rule.

In fact, he had the ball, took multiple steps, and then hit the ground. I can understand him leaping in the air, catching it, and hitting the ground. But if he took at least 1 step (which he did), that is a "football move" and should be a catch.

But even though the fumble for a running back and the catch for a receiver are different, they're the same. If you have control of the ball in your hands, inbounds, you should have possession. it should apply the same to both, and the fact that it doesn't is BS.

Well didn't see the game because of work, but surely happy we got the win.
Seen that Stafford started bad but finished damn near perfect, which is good. And Kevin Smith had a nice ass game too, wouldn't have seen that coming.
