The guy clearly never had possession.. He was fumbling it around and the LSU defender grabbed it. Can't really blame him though, the throw was practically a punt, had ridiculous hang time.
Bammer's playcalling has more to do with it. The way the defenses had been playing, you don't take the snap at shotgun and expect to get the first down through the air on 3rd and long, with the possibility that you'd be kicking a 50+ yard field goal. Either run a draw or a quick slant, or something to either gain a few yards for the kicker, or get the ball out quick and not risk a sack.Bama's kicker is the reason they're about to lose this game, plain and simple.
They still need a kicker who can hit those...if your gonna be a top team, you gotta have a kicker. It was the kickers fault that he missed the field goals, but you can't put the blame solely on him, when the offense (playcalling, mostly) was constantly putting the kicker in situations to attempt potential game winning field goals outside of his range.
Sure. I can't disagree with that, but Bammer should have known what their limitations were as far as special teams. Their playcalling in borderline FG territory should have reflected that. They still need a kicker who can hit those...if your gonna be a top team, you gotta have a kicker.
ohhh yes, that's right. I do get espn3.Do you get ESPN3?
Silas Redd says hello.Boom Herron = best running back in the Big 10, fuck Montee Ball. I've probably already said this, but a team is going to be very happy to take him in round 2/3. His field vision is great, good burst, good power. Just lacks great speed.
Thats what i'm sayin! I've seen guys get kicked out for less. How does Wade from Arkansas get ejected then suspended for today's game but dude from the LSU/Bama game can do that and just get a regular penalty called?
SEC is rigged.
