The guy clearly never had possession.. He was fumbling it around and the LSU defender grabbed it. Can't really blame him though, the throw was practically a punt, had ridiculous hang time.

Bama's kicker is the reason they're about to lose this game, plain and simple.
Bammer's playcalling has more to do with it. The way the defenses had been playing, you don't take the snap at shotgun and expect to get the first down through the air on 3rd and long, with the possibility that you'd be kicking a 50+ yard field goal. Either run a draw or a quick slant, or something to either gain a few yards for the kicker, or get the ball out quick and not risk a sack.

The overtime drive was a prime example of piss poor coaching. I'm as surprised as anyone that it was Saban that got outcoached in this game.

It was the kickers fault that he missed the field goals, but you can't put the blame solely on him, when the offense (playcalling, mostly) was constantly putting the kicker in situations to attempt potential game winning field goals outside of his range.

Man Bama was sooo close. Offense just couldn't keep it going. They went with Richardson at times they should have passed, and passed at times they should of gone to Richardson.

They still need a kicker who can hit those...if your gonna be a top team, you gotta have a kicker.

I'm gonna have to find a way to download the OkSU/KSU game... Looks like I missed a good one.

Sure. I can't disagree with that, but Bammer should have known what their limitations were as far as special teams. Their playcalling in borderline FG territory should have reflected that.

On the other hand, there is only one college kicker that I can think of off the top of my head that can consistently nail 50+ yard field goals.

Yeah, I thought Bama was gonna do a fake sooner or later, or just go for it...

Boom Herron = best running back in the Big 10, fuck Montee Ball. I've probably already said this, but a team is going to be very happy to take him in round 2/3. His field vision is great, good burst, good power. Just lacks great speed.

It'll be interesting to see what happens if this particular scenario plays out.

Stanford loses to Oregon

Oklahoma State loses to Oklahoma

LSU wins out + SEC title game

Alabama wins out

Boise wins out

Would a one-loss Bammer get a rematch with LSU over an undefeated Boise? Would Oklahoma leap-frog them both?

Let's all pull for the biggest potential cluster fuck.

I think it has to be LSU-Bama again.

Boise will get Stanford or OK.St. (hopefully)

OR Stanford plays OK.St. and Boise gets shafted like everyone wants...

I won't admit it, and not even next year when someone I like more takes over for Herron lol. Even though apparently Carlos Hyde threatened to transfer or some shit..

I'd be impressed if he put up a huge game against our defense. Not an easy D to run on, aside from Lamar Miller who is probably still giving OSU nightmares.

5 straight 125 yard games, he'll get at least 100 vs osu.

How does Wade from Arkansas get ejected then suspended for today's game but dude from the LSU/Bama game can do that and just get a regular penalty called?

SEC is rigged.
