Im saying for next year, when they both are under contract. From what I would presume, they wouldnt trade all those picks for a backup QB
Well regardless, Palmer is more talented. Getting out of Cincinnati will motivate him more now. Campbell is all dink and dunk, do not trust him to play well against good defenses. Palmer obviously has been mediocre recently (doesn't help that he plays PIT/BAL 4 times a year) but going to Oakland, where he has one of the best RBs in the NFL and a speedy WR core, he could regain some of his old form.

I'd rather have Palmer then Campbell, but again, not for that price tag.

Im happy for Carson, he finally gets out of Cincy and plays with a different team who will help him out.

I'd easily take Palmer over Campbell. Like you said, he'll be real motivated now and he's healthy again, at least that's what he said. I hope he does big things for the Raiders and I think he will be a good QB for them.

He doesn't have nowhere near the arm he used to have...He really needed to get Tommy Johns surgery

I think he will be fine, I know you being a Chiefs fan would hope for the worst, but I think he will turn into a good QB for them, that's just the feeling I get. I could be completely wrong, I'm not saying this because he played for the Bengals, I just think it's an upgrade for the Raiders. We'll let his play do the talking, we'll see what happens. We can sit here and say this and that, bottom line is you need to give the guy a chance. Different team, different everything. Might just be what he needed to get going again.

How many times are you gonna repeat this in this thread?

So my question is who is starting for them (Raiders) this week??

Can't wait to see Palmer back out there. I used to draft him all the time back in the day in fantasy drafts on Madden.

The answer to that question would be Carson Palmer.

he's not wrong, every time someone says something about palmer in this thread you post a massive paragraph about him. usually saying the same things.
Because people think he's a JaMarcus Russell. I know what was given up for him, it was a lot. The Raiders had to do something, they are in the playoff hunt, it might pay off for them. I repeat myself over and over and over because everyone thinks he's some washed up QB, he is not. I think going to the Raiders could turn him into a top 10-15 QB again.

The last few years he has been garbage.

did i say i wasnt?

im just not riding his dick to oakland.
I'll stick up for him, I'll continue to do so, whether you or anyone else like it, I could care less. I just could see either happening with him, but playing better seems the most likely.

Quite frankly, Palmer just isn't a good QB. Hasn't been for years.

Anybody who thinks the Raiders don't have talent at the WR position is clearly fucking retarded.

And they will benefit from Carson as well, who can make all the throws. Campbell is limited to short passes mainly, as to where Palmer will be able to utilize the speed and athleticism of the Raiders WR core better.

Exactly.

I know somebody is thinking DHB is a bust, but it normally takes 3 years for a WR to fully get comfortable in a system.

& Hes not even having a bad year, could get around to 1,000 yards with Palmer.

Then you have Jacoby Ford, Chaz Schilens who has been compared to Brandon Marshall when healthy.

Louis Murphy, who is also a beat, just hampered by injuries.. And lastly..

Denarius Fucking Moore..

I'd prolly choose the Raiders WR's over 75% of the leagues.
