Lulz.
First off, he hasn't gotten a legitimate chance to play since Cleveland, where he clearly wasn't ready, or coached properly. Second, who said he was learning from Orton? You do know they have a QB coach right?

Quinn has no accuracy, he's terrible.

Obviously you are a little biased since you are a Browns fan. And it was mechanics. He was lifting his foot off the ground to early, losing velocity and accuracy. If he's been working with the coaches, he could be greatly improved, much like a Rex Grossman. Again, not saying he will, but there's a chance. Give him a try.

I'm a little biased because I saw first hand how bad he was? The dude sucked from day 1, and was overrated coming out of college.

No, you're biased because you refuse to think that it's even possible that an NFL QB has improved at all over a two year period.

Bad accuracy and lack of arm strength = a bad combo. New mechanics aren't going to fix Brady Quinn. He can't extend defenses and make them respect his deep ball (if you want to call it that), he can't consistently throw 10-15 yard routes. He throws a pretty mean screen though.

Dude, picking up your back plant foot too early easily can take 15 yards off of a deep ball. Even if he doesn't have great touch and doesn't complete them, the defense would still have to back off with the threat of it. And like I said, the feet impact accuracy the most. Feet can always be improved.

Ryan Leaf / Jamarcus Russell were 1st round picks too.. Do they deserve 2nd chances? Sometimes 2 seasons is all you need to see.

They also were out of football after 2/3 seasons each. They clearly didn't love the game, they quit once they got their money. Quinn, eve though the going got rough, stuck it out, and still plays because he has the heart to do it.

No, Quinn didn't get AS much as a rookie..

& Being a back up QB in the nfl is probably the easiest job in the world, and pays good as fuck.

Its not like Quinn is telling everybody "Im fine being the #2 and holding out hope that one day I will be the franchise QB for a team" Obviously Quinn knows hes a bust, but makes more money as a backup QB than being out of the league completely.

I'm sure by now he has enough money to take it easy.
He loves the game man, don't deny that.

You'd be surprised..

Soo, How do you feel about Mark Brunell then.. is he in it for the love of the game? Or the Money?

That's soooo different. Either way he clearly loves the game too. 5th round pick, worked his way up, still playing at 41.

It's a shame loving the game doesn't miraculously make you a good QB.

Nope.

Mark Brunell is only still playing the game for a paycheck, just like Brady Quinn.

Brunell is bankrupt. Has made more money in his career than Brady Quinn also owns a chain of restaurants.. still bankrupt.

Telling you, Its not about the love of the game.. Brady is in it for the money because being a backup QB is better than any desk job out there.

You got me with Brunell, but that's irrelevant anyways. You can't connect him to Quinn.

You can, you said "im sure by now hes got enough money to take it easy"

Brunell is the prime example of that.

Cowboys are losing too. Should they bench Tony Romo?

Obviously the answer is no. My point is the blame should fall elsewhere on the Broncos. They have other holes to fix than QB. Orton actually hasn't played that bad this year. Maybe fix the D-Line instead of using Kyle Orton as a scapegoat.
No one is saying Orton is the reason we're losing. Try watching Bronco games, it gets pretty painful watching him sit in the pocket for 7-8 seconds and end up throwing the ball away or getting sacked. Tebow would at least take off and make the defense respect a running threat. Will someone explain to me why Tebow did so well in his 3 starts last season if he's such garbage.

Maybe they should bench Romo, considering last year they went 5-5 without him. If there was someone like Tebow behind him I'd be arguing for him to get the start. Anyways, the Cowboy's problem is the 4th quarter. The Broncos problem is the entire game.

The Broncos beat the Bengals with 187 pass yards. We dedicated to the run. I think using Tebow at least for some snaps can really keep a defense honest.
