Not everyone managed their money the same way though.
Your right there, but its not like Brady Quinn is in a cheap home with inexpensive cars..

Im telling you bro.. at this point.. its more about the money and less about the love of the game.

No one is saying Orton is the reason we're losing. Try watching Bronco games, it gets pretty painful watching him sit in the pocket for 7-8 seconds and end up throwing the ball away or getting sacked. Tebow would at least take off and make the defense respect a running threat. Will someone explain to me why Tebow did so well in his 3 starts last season if he's such garbage.

Maybe they should bench Romo, considering last year they went 5-5 without him. If there was someone like Tebow behind him I'd be arguing for him to get the start. Anyways, the Cowboy's problem is the 4th quarter. The Broncos problem is the entire game.

The Broncos beat the Bengals with 187 pass yards. We dedicated to the run. I think using Tebow at least for some snaps can really keep a defense honest.
It was hypothetical, i wasn't actually serious about benching Romo. My point is there are other areas to blame. I don't watch Broncos games because unfortunately I work most Sundays. It sucks but I need the money. I get my BRoncos information from friends of mine who watch every Broncos game. They hate Tebow. They actually are pleased with Orton this year. They understand there are other areas that need to be fixed, that will improve the team. That their run game is atrocious because Moreno has been hurt, and that a healthy Moreno could improve the flow of the offense and take pressure off the passing game to carry them. Their pass defense is 23rd in the NFL. The defense only has 2 interceptions and only 14 passes defended. League high in passes defended is 35 by the fucking 49ers. And lastly, they can't sack the fucking quarterback either.

Their issues rest on defense more than Kyle Orton. THat is my point. That yeah, you can blame some of this on Orton, but not all of it, which they are trying to do. My point was directed at Lone Granger for saying "if they lose again, they should bench Orton". Because it's a team effort. not an Orton effort. The outcome of the game should reflect on Orton AND the rest of the team.

First, Moreno is garbage. He's a poor man's Reggie Bush. Second, I think Broncos fans realize that Tebow isn't going to fix our atrocious defense. What we hope is that he can come in and help our 25th ranked running game while not hurting our 24th ranked passing game. Also, Kyle Orton is leading the league in turnovers and has been a below-average QB so far this year. There's a good chance he's not coming back next year so I would like to see if we need to use a draft pick on a QB or if Tebow can prove himself on the field.

But when he starts he will more than likely fail miserably. Dude is a horrible passer and won't help your passing game at all. He will more than likely make it even worse than it already is. But maybe once tebow gets a chance and shits the bed with it, alot of these Broncos fans will find out what the rest of the leauge knows already...Tebow sucks at being a QB in the NFL.

Ffs, can someone please tell me what was wrong with his 3 starts at the end of last season instead of just saying "everyone knows he sucks"

Alright here u go....

Game versus Oakland only compeleted 50 percent of his passes for a little over 100 yards. Yes he did do well for running in that game got a touchdown that way but he was horrible as a passer.

Game versus Houston he did good yards wise I'll give you that but yet again 55 percent pass completion. With one td and one interception. Then once again he got a touchdown with running.

Then his game against the Chargers he only completed 44 percent of his passes. 44 PERCENT!!! and he barely broke 200 yards passing. He threw 2 tds but he also threw 2 ints. And yes he did score a touchdown running.

I will say he could help the Broncos run game a little bit, but he will definitely not help you in the passing game. Being around 50 percent for completing passes isn't great. While Kyle Orton is around a 60 percent completion which is better than tebow's 50 percent. Tebow is not a NFL QB.

but every time they lose, they point the finger right at Kyle Orton. They realize he won't fix the defense because they probably don't realize there's something wrong with the defense.

Our starting defense is full of second and 3rd string players, due to injuries. Von Miller and Rahim Moore are the one putting in the work right now.

And thats a problem. Lack of depth.

I mean, fuck. Giants defense is riddled with injuries too but they're getting the job done. The blame shouldn't all be on Orton, but every time I read a Woody Paige article it is.

He scored 3 TDs in the 4th quarter against Houston in a comeback win and the defense gave it up against the Chargers at the last second, otherwise he would've had his second comeback win.

I'm not for Tebow because I think he'll save our football team, I'm for Tebow because we are rebuilding and have to make decisions in the immediate future. If Tebow comes out and is adequate we save a lot of money and can pick up more defenders in the draft next year. If he blows we're in the running for Luck. Win-win situation to me

At some point this season, the Broncos will play Tebow. If they are heading down a 3-7 path, that's the time to at least see what they have if they need to address the position next spring.

Completion percentage for rookie QB's that are currently starters:

Josh Freeman: 54.5 10 TD's 18 INT's
Mark Sanchez: 53.8 12 TD's 20 INT's
Matthew Stafford: 53.3 13 TD's 20 INT's

Interesting....

Wrong.

They aren't going to play Tebow at all. Its Orton, then Quinn, then Tebow.. They aren't blackballing Tebow or anything.. They see the kid in practice every fucking day.. If he can't shine in practice, what makes you think hes going to help the Broncos win games?

Everybody keeps bringin up last year.

I could of came back and won against the Texans with that shitty defense..

Realize that Tebow is garbage, repeat it a million times, let it sink in.. then forget about him.. 95% of NFL fans already have.

I'd bet that Tebow starts over Quinn at some point this season. I don't give a fuck about the depth chart.

They know what they're going to get from Quinn... Nothing.

Tebow still has potential, and regardless of comp% and defenses he did well last year.

What potential?
His rah rah attitude with horrible throwing motion? His inability to read NFL defenses?

Not a chance now or he would have already been a full-time starter.

Right, because he didn't start at the end of last year... I'm not saying he's a better pure passer than Kyle Orton, but does John Fox not playing him mean he is bad? Fox won't start him until it's too late because he wasn't the one who picked him, but he will go down with him if things go wrong.

Either way, I think Tebow can win in the NFL and he should [and will] get his shot some time this season (again).
