Oh and 701, you can go ahead and wear this:

Smh..

You're not hurting 701 at all with this, he just said Calvin is his favorite WR..

Should of made him wear his picture or something.

So many wrong things with this post, yet you claim to be one of the more knowledgable posters around here.

No fucking team/ownership/front office says "Hey, we got a 1st round QB, thats the end of the season". No fucking team gives up on the season. If the Jaguars would of gave up on the season, then they wouldn't of started Luke or kept David for as long as they did. Simple.

So, you're wrong..

Nice post breh.
Yeah, a team that really wants to win will draft a QB in the first round and ignore all of the other holes on their team. You are such an idiotic homer it's unbelievable. It doesn't matter what it is, if someone says something negative about the Jags you will try and defend it.

They suck.

Week 17: Trent Edwards @ QB.

Week 10: You're going to take plays away because they're lucky? Welp.. Make sure to put the * by his stats because of a last second hail mary.

Yep, Fucking Beasted.
Yeah, Mike Thomas really beasted the secondary when a batted ball dropped in to his hands.

And that is definitely the best game anyone had last year, which would make him the best WR in the league in your hypothetical/joke scenario, right?

Goes to show you how much you know.

Jags don't draft by need.

They draft by BAP.

Gabbert was the #1 player on their board, when he got to #10.. His value was too good to pass up on.

Jaguars also don't have alot of holes, fixed mostly all of them with Free Agency. Only real Big hole is WR.. & That will obviously be the selection in the first 2 rounds this year.

So if the Jags end up with the worst record in the league, is it "Goodbye Goldilocks and Lovin' Luck"?

Could be.

Gene Smith has a crazy/different way of evaluating prospects.

Hes said before that he wouldn't even hesitate to draft another QB, but considering how many teams want Luck.. He'd probably get a kings ransom by trading down.. Which is what he was wanting to happen in 2009 with Sanchez and 2010 with Clausen.. Sanchez didn't fall to #10 though and nobody wanted Clausen.

He wanted to draft Ben Roethlisberger the year after we drafted Byron Leftwich.. Shack Harris wouldn't make the call.

Jags won't end up with the worst record however.

Tom Brady could have played against rios' intermediate school team in this weather and he wouldn't have even thrown for 400.

No shit it was raining.

All the Newton fanboys around here though probably would bet their lives on the line that Newtons arm is so strong and hands are so big that rain wouldn't effect him.

Jaguars dropped 8 Newton INTs.

It wasn't raining after midway 3rd QTR and the Jags still dropped about 4 INTs before the rain even started.

Newton just isn't all that. Talent is there, but hold up on the fuckin bandwagon.
