Yeah, I forgot he was suppose to suck because the opponents sucked.
The catches he made in the game had nothing to do with how bad their secondary is, especially the last one.
The last one had to do all with the secondary. The first bomb was all Calvin.

Did you see how he caught that ball?
How many receivers in the league can do what he did on that play.

Yeah, soooo right.

Considering Blaine played well today.. Probably better than Newton.

Problem was playcalling and clock management.

2nd & 11 - WR Screen to Mike Thomas for no gain.

3rd & 11 - RB Draw to Deji Karim for 3 yard gain.

4th & 8 - Punt.

Typical drive.

Whats the point of having Blaine in if you don't even give him a chance to stretch the field? WR Screens don't work in the NFL, & especially since thats all the Jags have did since week 1. The way the refs handled the last 20 seconds though = such bullshit. Jags should of had atleast 3 shots left with :16 on the clock.
I'm not saying that Gabbert is bad... But it's a fucking fact that taking a QB in the 1st is a sign of a team giving up on the season, especially in a year when the division should have been winnable seeing as how you were saying the Colts suck even before Manning got hurt. Ownership decided that they were giving up on the season when they took Gabbert, all I'm saying.

Well, and that the Jags SUCK! :)

I never said he was supposed to suck because the opponents secondary did.

But it's pretty clear that it's easier to play well against a lower quality opponent.

You'd probably brag if CJ caught 2 TDs playing against some bumfuck high school.

So, can I say that Mike Thomas is the best WR in the NFL because he completely beasted against the horrible Texans secondary last year? Nope.. Calvin isn't better than Andre or Larry.. It is what it is.

Many, they get payed to catch it. Simple as that.

Yet, our defender was leaving their best wide out on the inside of him.

Week 17: 1 catch, 12 yards.

Week 10 minus the lucky hail mary: 7 catches for 99 yards

Completely beasted.

Yeah you guys are right. Every team just sucks in the secondary, therefore Calvin is an awful WR.
I'm so dumb sometimes.

So many wrong things with this post, yet you claim to be one of the more knowledgable posters around here.

No fucking team/ownership/front office says "Hey, we got a 1st round QB, thats the end of the season". No fucking team gives up on the season. If the Jaguars would of gave up on the season, then they wouldn't of started Luke or kept David for as long as they did. Simple.

So, you're wrong..

Nice post breh.

You embellish everything.

Nobody said that CJ sucked, he's just not the best WR in the NFL.

I am not dogging Megatron.

He is my favorite wide out in the NFL.

Week 17: Trent Edwards @ QB.

Week 10: You're going to take plays away because they're lucky? Welp.. Make sure to put the * by his stats because of a last second hail mary.

Yep, Fucking Beasted.
