Shout-out to the D-Train having a solid season thus far with Cincinnati.

That was great to see for the Tigers. Even with JV a little off, the team picked him up and he finished it off when he needed to. Also, Wilson Betemit getting the eventual game winner is what I like. Nice to have him come right over and keep hitting. Earlier game today to close the series. Get it done Scherzer.

Betemit finally makes our roster pretty much a hard out from top to bottom IMO.
Finally when I watch this team, I have the mindset that every hitter has a shot on getting on base. Whereas before we had Inge and Raburn sucking balls everyday lol.

BTW, Inge went like 3-4, 1 HR, 4 RBI's tonight in Toledo lmao.

I'd agree with that. When I see the lineups now, it gets me excited of how sick it looks.
Haha I know. It's sad when your team starts getting hits, and your happy, and than it turns from "Oh shit, raburns up"

Lmao of course he did. That's why I shake my head at minor league stats sometimes.

Haha pretty much. Even Raburn hasn't been complete trash lol. I think at this point this team is going to go as far as our pitching is going to take it, cause offensively we should be fine.

Haha, knowing Detroit he will be right back in the majors starting at 3B in no time.

Haha I know. I like how we're playing Raburn now. Just once in awhile i'm fine with, as long as he comes in and hits, which he has been. Yeah, we seem to be pretty set offensively. Pitching i'm pretty content with, especially with Porcello doing well lately. We need him to do well, and Penny has been adequate, just need to find a 5th pitcher. The winning in the division and on the road has helped our success as well. Which was one of the downfalls last year.

Haha most likely. I remember when he said he'd be back in September, no matter what. That scared me a little lol.

As much as I like Below, we do need that starter. To be honest, I would love to make a play on Jiminez. He would be pricey as hell, but Verlander-Jiminez-Scherzer-Porcello would be in place for years to come. Though it is unlikely lol. I'll be happy with any solid #4/#5 starter.

Yeah, unfortuntely he will be back regardless in September for roster call-ups lol.

Same here. I don't want to diminish Below or anything, because I like him and he's done fine so far, but I would prefer getting another solid pitcher from somewhere else. I'd love Jiminez, and heard some about Shields. Both guys would be a sick addition, and I do believe there are plans on getting a pitcher. I don't want to get my hopes too high, but I have that feeling that's happening, whoever it may be.

Haha I was thinking about that after he said that. It's like well yeah, roster call-ups that's not a bold prediction Inge lol

Rangers, Giants, Braves are basically the candidates for Carlos Beltran now. Mets win last night, which is good that the team is still focusing on playing baseball instead of where Beltran will go.

I think we definitely will. It's Dumbrowski's contract year, and he has to prove himself worthy of another contract.

James Shields isn't on the market and Detroit hasn't been in the Ubaldo picture lately
