I think he's going to stick at LF for most of his career. He doesn't get as good of jumps on balls that you would want a center fielder to get.

Brad Penny just doesn't cut it.. Honestly
I thought he did fine, and has been more than what Tigers expected out of him. Sure he got the loss today, but it's not like he's been horrible, especially lately. He wont go out there and not give up any runs, usually 2-4 runs with 7-8 hits. Just means the offense needs to score some runs in his starts. Sometimes he'll give up 5 and get a win, another day he'll give up 2 and get a loss. He's the 4th starter so i'm not expecting greatness from him. I expect adequate, and that's what he's been.

He did alright later in the game, you just never know what to expect out of him or actually, you never know what to expect out of 2-5. Tigers pitching has just been inconsistent, aside from Verlander. I'm just not big on him and right now, he's the #3 pitcher. Tigers need another pitcher.

Jason Kipnis (lefty) on the bench against a righty in favor of Orlando Cabrera who is hitting .230 against righties on the year.. /great managing.

Probably will lose today so we don't capitalize on the Indians loss.

Manny Acta, on CLE's involvement in trade talks: "The truth will come out. A lot of people will be shocked, surprised and be quiet for a long time after they find out every effort that the team put into it."

Basically meaning that they aren't going to make a trade and they're telling the fans not to get mad at them.. We had a chance this year to do something but they're throwing it away. Who knows how good the Indians will be next year.. Probably not at all.

leadoff nat gets walked
#2 hitter gets hit by pitch
#3 and 4 hitters get a single and the nats score 1
all of course, before the first out

after that, nothing

dodgers pitch a no hitter after the 1st 4 hitters :p
