Craig Kimbrel is my man crush (and Kershaw)
I drool when i see him pitch

last year in the playoffs vs SF was the first I saw him. unbelievable stuff. best in baseball imo
im so glad he's in the all-star game

Kimbrel as a closer has more K's than fellow all-stars Jurrjens and Correia, as much as Vogelsong

Him and Venters are both ridiculous... Venters' sinker is frightening.

*Self Indians Plug* Joe Smith has a 0.85 ERA out of the bullpen. A right handed side armer, and lefties are hitting .129 off him :p

There are a lot of mediocre players on the all-star teams this year though because I think they are picking replacements off voting from the players and not the actual coaches.

It's honestly hilarious that Scott Rolen made the team. .240 AVG, .270 OBP, 5 homers, lmfao.

Yeah. Let's put the guy with 25 HR's in the nine hole. Real intelligent.

I'm going with Adrian Gonzalez for the Derby. A-Gone vs. Prince. If i'm wrong, oh well. I just have that feeling they'll do well. The year Vlad won it, I picked Alex Rios, and almost got that one right, so runner up at the worst is fine by me haha

I'll go with Cano, his swing is smooth and effortless. A-Gon would be my second choice to win. Most of the guys in here have pretty violent swings and will probably take a toll on them.

all of kemp's homers go to Right and Center so I wonder how he'll do
im worried about him messing up his swing trying to pull everything

i'm picking him. duh :p
if not, then Joey Bats

speaking of Kemp, hitting 3rd for the ASG <3. i wanted leadoff because that's probably his truest spot, but i'll take 3rd

Jose: 31 HR, .334/.468/.702/1.170
Cano: 15 HR, .296/.342/.521/.863
Jose: Plays with no pressure or expectations on a horrible baseball team.
Cano: Plays under constant scrutiny in the biggest market in the world.

For the record: That's a down year by Cano's standards, and he still the best at his position.

he has no pressure? really?
if he doesnt do anything, they lose. simple
cano can have an 0-fer and the yankees can still win easily

Not everyone can handle the NY media's scrutiny. Just ask Zack Grienke.
