This was our last season to compete for the cup, IMO. I'm sure Lidstrom will be gone, and Bertuzzi and Holmstrom aren't getting any younger, they're going to decline. We will be a playoff team, but nothing more. Unless we strike gold in the offseason and grab some good players, but we are too strapped money wise to do anything big.
No need to worry about next year. We still have a 1.8% chance of coming back to win this series. Haha

They've fucked it up before and I don't want to get my hopes up but the Broons have looked mighty good in this series

+1 Kesler has been a BEAST though. Sedins really need to step the fuck up. Their play has been nothing short of disappointing.

Wings had been down the entire game. Have scored 3 unanswered goals in the 3rd and are now up 4-3. Let's do this Wings.

I really hope Detroit finds a way to eliminate the Sharks.

What heart Detroit showed tonight! Got down and never gave up. That is the heart of a champion right there! Back to Detroit it goes. They looked like a total different team in the third period. Lets tie this series up!

Wings are starting to make me believers! I don't want to get too high about it, but if we manage to get Game 6, no controlling the excitment. This team has so much fight in them.

Never underestimate the art of a champion. I know we haven't won since 08, but you can never underestimate the heart of a champion.

This sums up the San Jose Sharks playoff run so far. Fucking flopping assholes keep getting powerplays, even if it's the weakest call ever.

You know, it gets harder and harder to like Joe Thornton. I liked him when he was in Boston and sympathized with his bitterness over the trade. Then he bitched about the Bruins always getting favorable calls (even when he admitted to rarely watching the team play). And now, I believe, this is the 2nd time he's pulled some shit like that.

Joe, meet Irony. Irony, Joe.
