Boy was I wrong on my prediction of us coming out strong. We played like absolute shit today (excluding Jimmy, of course) up until the third period. Why can't we play with that urgency all damn game? Fuck.

Boston leads 2-0. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing because of last year.

Patrick Eaves with the goal. Wings up 2-1. Come on Wings. Hold onto this lead.

Well, looks like Washington is done.

Philly is also pretty much done, unless they can repeat last year

No its not. We have a 1.8% chance of winning the series! :p We shit the bed in overtime. Had SO many opportunities to score, including the power play.
LOL. 1.8%.. The odds look pretty good. They had several chances in OT, just could capitalize and it ended up costing them the game. There's always next year, right? Errrr next game!?

This was our last season to compete for the cup, IMO. I'm sure Lidstrom will be gone, and Bertuzzi and Holmstrom aren't getting any younger, they're going to decline. We will be a playoff team, but nothing more. Unless we strike gold in the offseason and grab some good players, but we are too strapped money wise to do anything big.
