Anywho, I'm not making any excuses, but we only had one bad game this series and that was the one at home because we suffered from the "We're going home" syndrome and didn't play like we wanted to win that game. Will we lose this series? Most likely. Will we get swept? Probably. Did we play some pretty damn good basketball in games 1 and 2? Yes, if you ask me.

This series wouldn't have been closer if the Knicks had Willis Reed. The difference in Game 1 and 2 wasn't any certain players, it was just that the Knicks couldn't execute at the end of games and the Celtics could.

Thats so not true, if Billups was in late in Game 1 or if Amare was in there late in Game 2. We wouldve won 1 of those games. You obviously dont execute a last second shot with Jared Jeffries handling the ball or Jeffries playing defense on the Celtics last possession.

Jeffries is a better defender than Amare is so I don't know what you're getting at? Like I said, it didn't matter who the Knicks had at the end of the games. The Celtics executed better than the Knicks at the end of Game 1 and 2, and won because of it.

But had Amare and Billups been on the court, Melo probably wouldn't have still carried the offense like he had. It would've been a different game. The bottom line being, the Celtics, no matter what players the Knicks have on the court, are the better team, especially in the 4th quarter.
