I didn't say they were. I just told you what you were looking for, and why you would be looking for it.Yes, I am looking for Mo and Pujols, but statistically, they weren't the best last season, that would be Soriano/Wilson and Bautista. You not saying them means that you already agree that track records matter, you just don't want them to because Miggy is a Tiger.
Lets put it this way, Pujols hit .312, hit 42 homers, had a .414 OBP, a 1.010 OPS, and everybody considered it a DOWN YEAR! That is phenomenal. Pujols has had a better year than Miggy every season but last year and even then it was close.
Don't put words in my mouth.
And when Miggy has a better season than Pujols again, I'll ask what happened this year.
