Probably not. They are gonna need more than Melo and Lopez though, thats for sure. But I don't see how they can get anything more.
Traded away their current future, as well as any future they could of had lol.the four first rounders still makes me lol
I think I explained the reason on the previos page...Lopez is overrated. Can't rebound for shit.
Fields was the third one.NY would have to strip their team down too for Melo.
I'm pretty sure Denver was asking for Felton, Gallo, and another starter.
ive posted it recently, i think. not 100% sure i did though.NY would have to strip their team down too for Melo.

Couldn't be further from the truth. And I'm not even saying that Melo will agree to sign with us.But if Melo doesn't agree to NJ, I think Denver will HAVE to trade him to the Knicks, and the Knicks won't give up Felton + Chandler + Fields + Gallo or even a combo of 2 of them. Denver is running out of time and most likely will have to take the offer the Knicks make.
Denver would happily let him lose out on those tens of millions of dollars before taking scraps. The Knicks are not giving up Felton for sure. They probably won't give up Gallo either. Chandler probably will. Fields they will think long and hard about. Cause its either take the Knicks bare minimum offer or lose him for nothing in FAcy.
BOOM!!! Nailed that motherfucker right on he head!!!This morning I've come up with two possible solutions for why Anthony isn't dealt yet. It's most likely one or the other, but there's the slight possibility it's both: -- based off this below:

SO here are the two things that are going on, in my opinion:
1. The Nuggets are so pissed off at Carmelo that they are willing to run the risk of getting nothing in return and having him sign the Knicks in the offseason anyhow, just to "get back" at him.
2. The GM of the Nuggets has absolutely no idea what he is doing. Walsh said earlier "They did the same thing with the Nets, too." They ask, ask, and once both sides think they are on the same page and are getting close the Nuggets stop and say "Eh, what about a little more?". Blame Carmelo all you want, but the reason he hasn't been dealt yet falls directly on the Nuggets.
this is the same team that had about a uh, 15x better offer back in January and wanted "more".I'm sure Denver is more concerned about getting at least a few players and picks for him.
im just sayin. I've read over the last two days that League Executives have labeled the Denver FO as "Amateur Hour" over the last few days. Wouldn't surprised me if they screwed all of this up and took their chances on there being a Franchise Tag in the new CBA.Yeah but a month has turned into a week, its crunch time.
