Yeah ... but now days more I look at the leafs more I think that Burke isnt the man that could make the leafs a winning team ... but we will see what he does from here to the deadline .. to really judge him and his plans .

Getting ready to watch the Wings kick some Bruins ass on national television :p Should be a good game Baggs, no way the Bruins have another 6-1 type night.

Not a very good first half for the Wings, IMO. We really need to come out strong to start the 2nd and take advantage of the power play.

After a good period and a half, it looks like it could end up that way.

Yeah, we're really starting to take it to you guys. Ever since the 2nd period started we have been dominating and have been playing real well. If Tim Thomas wasn't in goal we would probably be up 2 or 3 goals right now.

We needed that one. Perfect timing. Bertuzzi is on a scoring tear these past few games.

Michael Grabner is on fire. Had a hat trick today and has 15 goals in his last 13 games. Still can't believe the Islanders got him on waivers.

Another mistake by Tallon. I can't believe he gave up on him that quickly. Glad to see him doing well.

2. Jesse Blacker, Owen Sound Attack (Toronto Maple Leafs, 2nd round, 58th overall, 2009)
49 GP, 10 G, 37 A, 47 PTS, 66 PIM

The six-foot-one Toronto native has shown plenty of promise to lead the hometown fans into hoping that he can transition his superlative offensive game to the professional ranks.

Blacker's offensive totals have increased significantly in his third full OHL campaign. Originally signed by the Windsor Spitfires, Blacker joined the Attack last year and made an immediate impact on the Owen Sound blueline.

Despite starting slowly in Windsor (one assist in six games), he caught fire with the Attack. In 48 games the team last year, he accounted for 30 points and 62 PIM. This season, he's already exceeded those totals in an equal number of games this season.

Blacker showed promise last season in a six-game call-up with the Toronto Marlies, following Owen Sound's elimination from playoff contention. Although he only accounted for one assist in limited ice time, he managed to finish the season even in terms of plus/minus -- no small feat on a team where most regulars found themselves on the wrong side of that ledger.

Leafs win! Grabovski and Kessel with two goals each. Great to see Kessel end his slump.

Personally hope this game shut up some of the media. From what I saw last night, this team wasn't missing a guy like Kaberle. It was missing speed and some fucking heart.

After dropping two brutal games to Detroit you go and drop a stinker, AT HOME, to the Leafs? The 5th worst team in the league wanted it more then they did. And Boston is fighting to keep their lead in the Northeast, which they lost because Montreal went to OT with Buffalo.

i saw the owen sound attack on friday against the saginaw spirits. Pretty damn good game. Spirits were down 3-1 with like 5 mins left came back to tie it up. then they went to overtime and with like 2 mins left I think it was, the spirits scored a goal and won. I might have seen this player play his last game in the ohl for this season lol.

Lol love you too ;)

On HFboards the Bruins fans were very upset with the Bruins losing to the Leafs, it was pretty funny.
