Just realised tomorrow is Hockey Day In Canada on CBC. I had no idea it was this close. It's always my favourite Saturday of the hockey season.

Am I the only one who thinks people (the media mostly) overreacted to the Pens-Isles game last night?

The media overreacts on the time over the dumbest stuff. Personally I loved what happened last night, and wished it happened more often. I love that style of hockey with a lot of fights, and wish the Leafs were involved in a major brawl. lol

Exactly it was good for interest and, thankfully, didn't really result from a cheap shot. Gilles went high on Tangradi but that's the worst of it. At least from what I saw.

Forgot to post in here last night, but what a frickin game by the Wings. We definitely needed that win to hopefully bring us out of this slump we have been in. Howard had a real solid night, which was a change because lately he hasn't been too good. Hopefully they can keep up this solid play. In other news, holy shit the Penguins/Islanders game was a wreck haha. 15 fighting majors and like 360 penalty minutes! PM7, I have to agree, Brent Johnson is one BAMF. He will fight anyone haha.

Yeah the fights were great. I laughed so hard when that Haley guy got double teamed by Johnson and the other Penguin. I also lol'd when I think it was Talbot got sucker punched and curled up into a little ball at center ice haha.
