As you should. Senators need to rebuild after a decade of success, and the Islanders are just the Islanders.

No catching up to the Leafs though :p.

Yeah of course the Rangers start playing worse once all their players start returning...

I wouldn't really say the Senators had a decade of success when they didn't win any Cups. They had a good decade but I wouldn't really call it successful.

Phil Kessel was a bit frustrated with his demotion to the third line, but coach Ron Wilson said it was because of Kessel's recent struggles, which were caused by his myopic focus on scoring. And that made Kessel frustrated enough to say that Wilson and he "don't really talk," which is a bit of a critique on Wilson's coaching methods.

Then came the kicker, via the National Post: "Obviously, it's not going right. It might not be working out here."

Now, as Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos tweets, Kessel may have just been speaking out of frustration so we could be reading too much into this. But Kessel hasn't exactly played up to expectations in Toronto -- especially given the huge price they had to pay to get him from the Bruins two seasons ago. But, because of that price, it's unlikely GM Brian Burke would ever look to deal Kessel. If anything, a trade request would have to come from the player -- at which point things would turn into a circus up in Toronto.

Wonderful, he comes back when the Rangers are playing their worst hockey of the season.

I think I remember a similar game with the Bruins. I think every so often the refs try to make the Thrashers win lol

Biron looks pretty sharp, just made some key saves.

He really does, the Rangers just have to cash in on some of these scoring chances.

I like how Wilson has put Kessel with Grabovsi and Kulemin. They have generated two goals so far this period.

Phaneuf scores his first as a Leaf at home lol.

Rangers have gotta be the most frustrating team in the NHL to watch.

Wings win. Great game, especially from Datsyuk in his first one back.

Glad to see a win in Datsyuks' first game back. Glad he's back. Missed his presence. It was needed. Especially with the back to back shutout losses prior.
