I'm predicting a triple double from Yao.

East has a better starting lineup IMO (after you replace Yao with Duncan or Gasol of course.)

Why doesn't the NBA just take off "out for the season" players??????

I think they need to adjust how players get in. Keep fan voting, but don't determine the bulk of the team off of that.

Duncan will get the nod over Gasol probably. Mainly because Duncan plays a lot more center than Gasol during the season.

edit- And that's why he got the nod the last year.

Ginobili had better make the reserves list. He has had a great year, one of the best in his career.

I don't understand why NBA.com and other major media outlets are advertising Yao Ming as if he is actually going to play much less start. Kinda retarded imo.

And I think fan voting needs to be done away with complete for the ASG. My reason is because the starters should be determined by how well a player is doing this season along side of his teams record.

Fan voting should determine the dunk contest and the skills challenge only. The 3PSO is determined by stats along with the rookie challenge me thinks.

D-ROSE!

NBA fans should be embarrassed that Deron Williams isn't in the starting lineup.

Also, for the millionth time, it's better than Yao Ming was selected a starter, because at least he can be replaced with Gasol. None of those other guys deserve to be anywhere near the All-Star game.

D-Will is good but Paul is better. He's the sole reason the Hornets are doing so good.

Alright, maybe they shouldn't be embarrassed that he wasn't starting, because Paul/Williams either way is a win-win, but Williams shouldn't have finished in sixth place among Western Conference guards.

Dirk also finishing in sixth place is a joke...

What about a voting process like this? The players and coaches of the league get to vote in the first 10 guys. The five starters, and five reserves. Then the last two guys, numbers eleven and twelve, are like wild cards and are chosen by the fans. The two players with the highest amount of votes that weren't already selected by the players and coaches make up the last two roster spots. So in all, the fans choose four players.
