Should be all-star? Lmao

They should just declare Pau and Duncan the all-star centers and call it an night.. No center in the West is worthy of an all-star selection.
How does he not deserve it? If the league will have actual centers in the game, he's the most deserving in the West. Am I saying he should start? No, like you said Gasol or Duncan will probably start. But Emeka Okafor is one of ONLY SIX players in the NBA averaging a legit double-double. As in 10 and 10 and not like 10 and 9.6. He's also the only center in the West averaging a legit double-double. Not many bigs are playing better defense than he is.

The last 20 games he's averaging something like 12 points, 14 rebounds, and nearly a block and a half per game. How's that not allstar deserving? Aside from the first 3 games he's averaging 11 points and 11 rebounds. How is that not deserving?

His averages are 11/10, and that's it.. That's why he's not deserving. Al Jefferson is getting 16/8, and is listed at Center, so right there, is another Center more deserving.

Wait, so a center averaging 16 and 8 is more deserving than a center averaging 11 and 10? A center who plays NO defense is more deserving than a center who plays some of the best D in the paint in the league?

Lol, Al Jefferson...

The game goes way beyond the stats my friend.

Emeka Okafor is the most deserving center, probably followed by Nene.

It would go beyond the stats if Emeka Okafor was an elite defender... Fact is he is averaging 11/10, and is not great enough defensively to make up for it to grab an all-star spot.

How often do you tune into games played by Emeka Okafor and Al Jefferson?

Compared to Jeffersons defense, Okafors defense IS elite.

Jefferson probably has a more polished offensive game, but that's about it.

Do you think it's just coincidence that's the Hornets are rated #2 in defensive rebounding % compared to Utah's #27? Al Jefferson isn't half the rebounder Emeka is (clearly) and he isn't half the post/paint defender Emeka is.

Though I guess that's what wrong with these allstar games like the NFL and NBA. It's all about name, location, and what's "in" or "sexy" right now. It's not about actual production.

And compared to Emeka Okafor on offense, Al Jefferson is the next Karl Malone...

I hope you're kidding on the rebounding too... Al Jefferson isn't that good of a defender but he is not a bad rebounder..

Yep, you're right, Al Jefferson in Utah is definitely what's in and a sexy location and name in the NBA.. give me a break.

DeMar DeRozan is having a good season this year. Didn't even know dude was averaging 15 a game. He couldn't make a 3 if his life depended on it but his FG% is pretty good.

Pistons beat the Suns in a boring game. 75-74. Well, they haven't forgotten how to win games. I guess.

Hornets beat the NBA's proclaimed "best team" tonight. Hornets 96 Spurs 72. Complete second half domination.

This comes a night after the Hornets beat the Hawks by 41.

This club is dang-er-ous!

CP3 also broke Longorias ankles:

My god we lost the lead in the 4th and lost. 6 game losing streak. Durant hits the game winner. Chandler needs to step up. Ice cold today with only 5 points. :suicide:
