Lol Mexi shut up about Blake. Dude is unclutch. Had 7 assists at half and didn't get a triple double.
so

are you really getting mad at him for not getting a triple double?
only like 7-8 different players a year get one. only lebron, kidd, and maybe rondo get them multiple times

unbelievable you are calling him out for not getting 3 assists in a half
he averages 3.5 a game anyways. 7 is more than enough. 3 in a half isnt asking a lot, but it shouldnt be expected

The Hornets were on a back-to-back also.

Anyway, the Spurs got beat because they relied on the outside shot way to often. They were afraid to drive into the lane because Okafor was blocking everything in sight. Heck even Mbenga was going after shots. When you aren't driving to the basket and your outside shots aren't falling, it's tough to win.

As for the Hornets shooting good, anytime you give a NBA team that many open looks they're going to hit their shots. If the Spurs had made the proper rotations (great ball movement from the Hornets) they could have closed on our outside shooters and forced them to either pass up shots or take contested jumpers. Trevor Ariza was 4-4 from three point land and I think every shot was from the exact same spot with nobody guarding him.

The Spurs played so bad I'm not sure they deserve to be able to put that game on a "off night." Terrible rotations, terrible shot selection, it was just a badly played game from the Spurs, not a off night.
You're confusing an off night with your hate.

Every team gets beat bad every now and then. That is fact.

Spurs are allowed to have an off-night just like anyone else. They played god-awful.

Damn the Knicks have lost 6 in a row. Fucking pathetic, we should be better than this, we suck so badly we shouldnt even try in the playoffs if we are going to play like this.

Hate? There's noway I can "hate" on the Spurs.

1- How can you hate on a team with their resume? Respect is a much better word.
2- My mom was born in San Antonio and I've been there many times, I wouldn't call myself a Spurs fan, but I certaintly do not hate them.

I'm just saying a team doesn't deserve to have the scapegoat of a off night when they played as bad as they did. If you want to talk about a offnight, lets talk about when a team can't hit anything. Layups, midrange, threes, free throws. The Spurs didn't even try and get into the lane, they just threw up long range shot after long range shot. They fell asleep on their defensive rotations, they didn't contest shots.

They didn't have a offnight, they just were out gameplanned and out played. Your confusing those two with a off night.

Well I disagree.

I agree they were out-played, but that's sort of an obvious thing.

Having an off-night is not a scapegoat or an excuse. It's a real thing that happens pretty often to sports teams. My point is that if the Spurs were playing .500 ball and they got beat for the 10th or more time by 20 then yeah I can see how someone could think along the lines that you do. But that's not the case as it is for a lot of other NBA teams that you could tag your reasonings to.

However. That was their 2nd loss this season out of 7 of them that was by 20+. The other came in Orlando 12-23-10 with a score 101-123 that ironically came on a back to back game also as the previous night they defeated Denver by 6 in SA. The other 5 losses were all by less than 10 points. So actually they do deserve the right to have a bad game when they have has so few all year long. SA would be 38-6 if it weren't for the terrible no call to end the game @ Boston last month. Ginobili got molested, but this is beside the point.

When you lose so few games, and in the sort of fashion I don't believe you can say what you are saying to sum it up. If they have lost like that all year long then sure.

And to answer the question that started your post:

1- Nobody can unless they just feel like being haters. Sorry I assumed you to be. My mistake. But the Spurs are the 3rd most successful franchise in NBA history based on winning percentage. Boston and LAL have them beat, but also have been in the league 20 years longer than the Spurs as they entered the early 70s with the ABA-NBA merger. So that's pretty bad ass. Not to mention they were the most successful franchise of the decade from 2001-2010 in all of professional sports in North America.
