Jones-Drew suffered the injury this preseason, so credit him for gutting out a productive 14 games. Although he was told by team doctors his knee may not hold up, MJD played until long-term damage became a legitimate concern. He should be fine by 2011 training camp. Rashad Jennings will start at halfback in Week 17, and makes a fine RB2 against the woeful Texans.
No doubt in my mind he would of won the rushing title if he was healthy. A torn meniscus is normally a season ending injury. He was behind Arian Foster by like 35 yards after his last game. Anybody who questions his toughness or questions hes not a big time back can kiss the baby. Hes a BEAST.
