We dont make the schedule, we just play the games. And beating teams that arent good is the first step in becoming a really good team. If we can beat the bad teams consistently then we have a great chance of making the playoffs. You guys just cant beat anyone period.

It goes beyond that. If we're going to suck, I'd rather see Favors and James get meaningful minutes as opposed to Petro, Outlaw and Graham. I'd also like to see us actually run some type of offense, not get the shot-clock down to four before Lopez or Petro throws up a brick (or have one of our many shot clock violations), and actually see improvement from our players.

Avery is trying to turn Brook into Dirk and prove that he can evaluate talent by "making starters" out of Outlaw and Morrow.

Someone needs to send this to Brett Yormark (Nets CEO of Marketing):

Hahaha I agree with everything you said but don't you think it would be a bit premature to fire Avery?
Our defense hasn't been that bad this year on the bright side.
Our offense is awful though. We only run two <Censored>ing plays, pick and roll and quick post up. Also, I get so pissed when Petro shoots those 16 footers... like what the <Censored>.
I mean we are still rebuilding so I'm just going to give it some more time before I throw Avery under the bus.

I'm fine with being patient and watching this team grow. However, something has to give at some point. This team isn't playing with the energy that they were playing with before. As far as our defense goes, it has been pretty bad this year. The only reason as to why our opponents PPG is so low, is because we play at the slowest pace in the league. I can't find the official stat (I think it's points per possession), but basically our defense is about as bad as our offense.

Look at what the Bricks did when we played them, they sped the pace of the game up and dropped nearly 120 on us.

The Bobcat game on Friday was full of lulz.

I say we ignore him from now on, he boasted about how signing Amare was going to backfire, when he couldnt have been more wrong since he's played like an MVP candidate the last 2 weeks

Like you said we dont make it, we just play it. We're doing what the fck are we supposed to do, beat the teams we're better then.

Nets should take notes.... oh wait....

Nevermind their busy trying to immulate the Lakers lol

Joe Johnson has been trash this year. 40% FG? 25% from 3PT?
Have fun with the fact that they will be in salary cap hell for the next six years...
He's played with an elbow injury all year.... and still lead our team in assists....

How does one "immulate"?

I never said how soon it would be before Amare blows his knees out. I'll go with a year and a half.

I will leave you with these:

Okay so the Hawks just beat the Magic in Orlando. Josh Smith outplayed Dwight. AND we didn't even have JJ.

No Joke.

=]
You do realize the Magic had 3 players (Dwight Howard, Mickael Pietrus, and JJ Redick) battling a serious illness and a 4th player (Jameer Nelson) out with the same illness? Atlanta isn't on Orlando's level and never will be.

been saying since he was drafted, Eric Gordon is legit
really coming into his own this season, and im so glad. i've been riding him the past few years :D
ask TYO

Clippers are like a few pieces from being like the Thunder. look at the thunder, Durant and westbrook are legitimate superstars

Griffin is on his way, and Gordon is going to be a legit scoring threat for years. if their draft picks keep panning out, Baron continues to progress, then they can potentially surprise next season

The Clippers are 5-17... They aren't even close to the Thunder. They have two young pieces.

I believe you except for the Baron part. He's gonna regress if anything with him getting older. Bledsoe will continue to progress though. If they can get another lottery pick this year, they should be real good next season.

One of the most pathetic losses of the year.

Avery Johnson can take his hat, his coat and get the <Censored> out.

EDIT:

Kyrie Irving, here we come!

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL "battling serious illness." We beat them on their court without our best player. I ain't hearin that ish. We beat em last year too. We're set back just as much as they are and we still gave them the business.
