Also, Mexi's fanhood is being tested tonight. The Clips vs the Lakers. I wonder how Odom and Gasol are going to handle Griffin. Artest might match up with Griffin a little bit in the post. Going to be a fun one.

i'll be watching the Clipper telecast to hear them say how much the Lakers suck and how San Antonio (who they freaking jizz over every year) will sweep them in the playoffs. how dallas (who they also love) will beat them as well, and how utah finally has enough this year to beat them

gonna be fun for you NBA fans out there. im saying Clips win. they get up for big games. sure it's an all L.A. crowd, but during the clipper home games, there really is more clipper fans. they're young, fast, lakers played last night, and are old and slow

Ralph Lawler is play by play. he's been calling clipper games forever.
he has his lines. when something crazy happens, "oh me oh my". nice block, nice shot, nice pass, nice steal, great play to end the game, a horrible play to end the game. anything

when someone hits a 3, "Bingo"

and Lawler's Law: first to 100 wins

Mavs have one of the top play-by-play announcers in the league I'd say. Top 3. Our color commentary is meh. I'll see if I can get a stream to the game tonight to watch the Lakers-Clippers.

And even though I'm skeptical like all Mavs fans..every day that goes by..I get a better feeling that this team can contend. Right now I think you have to say we are the 2nd best team behind the Lakers. We have the advantage over the Spurs if we play them I think.

Maybe it's just the streak and so I'm on a high. But I haven't felt this good about a Mavs team in a long time

i thought the mavs would be good. i predicted them #2 behind the lakers

i just dont know if they can beat the lakers. well, i do know. they cant

i will say this though.
they can beat the lakers if they catch lightening in a bottle
if barea and roddy wreak havoc. lakers suck vs quick guards

if they have home court, they can potentially upset the lakers

if bynum isnt healthy, there's trouble because pau would be gassed come playoff time

and they need kobe to show his age

a lot of "if's"

but it can be done
if the lakers are relatively healthy come playoff time though. forget it. no team in the west can beat a healthy lakers team

but then again, it's the mavs
they do this every year
50 wins and nothing to show for it
i swear they go on 2 10 game win streaks a year

Did you beat them in the playoffs when it counted though? No, you got swept, badly. The Hawks will NEVER be on the Magic's level until they beat us in the playoffs, and you and I both know that would never happen. Have a nice day. I know you're probably gonna say "what's last year got to do with it"? But if you take a gander up above, you brought up last year yourself, so I don't want to hear that it doesn't matter, because otherwise you wouldn't have brought it up.

Us beating yall without JJ is a personal W in my book. I satisfied knowing we got some payback on yall without even having our best player that gets hated on on the daily.

Lol the Magic aren't winning a championship? The Magic have been a Top 5 team in the past 3 years, made the Finals 2 years ago and the Conference Finals last year. Have the Hawks even got close to either? And congrats for beating the Magic without JJ, our starting PG was out (most important part of any basketball team) and three other players were saddled with illness. All I know is the Hawks aren't beating the Magic in April/May.
