exactly why he's overrated

he's always had the talent in NY to hide his faults
in 08 here, the dodgers were a 500 team until manny came. Manny pretty much got us into the playoffs on his own....with the help of the DBacks choking.

in 09, we got really lucky at times. we were a good team, but we had a ton of lucky breaks. all those walk offs proved it

Tore is horrible. there's a reason every Dodger fan wants him gone
he was batting Kemp 8th last year when he was on fire most of the season
this year, yikes.

he makes us keep Garret Anderson, he abuses Broxton, he doesnt double switch, he makes some bad line-ups. why the hell are you batting Ethier/Loney back to back Joe? you know they cant hit lefties. freaking easy for the manager to go to the pen with a lefty late in the game. he ABUSES the bull pen. he doesnt let his starters go deeper in games

so much more. i can go on

i will say this though. he's cool always. i do like that
he kept things in the locker room great, no problems here at all, so many distractions too. when we lose, it's because of us, but he could have done a better job managing no doubt. really overrated in terms of on field managing, not the "intangibles"
