Tracy McGrady has been signed by the Detroit Pistons to a one year minimum contract, a source close to the situation tells DraftExpress.

This from Joe Dumars: "We have not signed Tracy McGrady, discussing it, definitely haven't signed"
False Alarm I guess

Must mean it's close to happening.
If so, I suddenly love Dumars again. T-Mac has been my favorite non-Piston for a while. I don't even care how washed up he is, this makes me SO happy.

Yeah, hope he can revive his career in Detriot, definitely was one of my favorite players growing up too.

Your so bipolar. Now you like him because he brings in a washed up vet (even though I love him). Make up your mind. Is this a good move for the Pistons? No not really. But I hope T-Mac does well.

It was pretty obvious exaggeration.
I want Dumars to be fired, why would I change that just cause we sign one player.

You mean when I used to like him like 2 seasons ago?

Alright, well I'm not just gonna change back to liking him unless he does something that actually helps the franchise and gets us back to winners.

The Pistons won't be able to contend with their current make up. They have to just blow up the team already.

Me and thousands of Pistons fans realize that. We aren't going anywhere until we cut loose Rip and Tay.

Best case scenario is like a 6th seed. Likely would of snuck in last year if we weren't injured the entire season.

No, the East was too strong last year. I think it's too strong this year too. But yeah Dumars is hanging onto them for no reason right now.

We were 7-4 with the entire team healthy. I think we could of done it.
But when you only play 11 games with a full roster, good things aren't going to happen.

And yes, we all agree with that.

Detroit? Didn't see that happening...
Not sure anyone did lol.

Still has to actually happen though. I guess we are discussing it over the weekend. If it doesn't happen I'm just going to hate Dumars even more lol.

Why would they sign T-Mac though?

I'm thinking we have a deal in place to get rid of either Prince or Hamilton.
I don't T-Mac would even consider Detroit if he would come here as deep bench player.
My theory is that we will move Rip/Hamilton for a big. Then start T-Mac at the 2/3.

But that is a MAJOR pipe-dream. But at the same time, him coming here doesn't make much sense if what I just said doesn't happen. Maybe that's why we are "discussing" over the weekend.
