Apparently the Cavs and Hawks might do Shaq in a S&T for Marvin?

Guess I'd be alright with that.. Marvin could do well in our new up tempo offense.
thatd be great for you guys. starter for you.

Apparently Conley is tradeable on the Grizzlies, and since we're looking for a young PG to go in an up tempo offense, he'd be a perfect fit. I think Mo would be a perfect fit in Memphis as well, they use Conley as a spot up shooter, so why not have Mo instead?

Then trade Jamison for whatever we can get. I'd be satisfied with that this off-season, then Stern can rig us the lotto because we lost LeBron and get Barnes or some <Censored> lol

I don't see why no one would trade with us.

and I have no idea if they have anything to add for salary , I was just throwing out a basis that would make sense for both teams.

The Clippers will bring in Tracy McGrady for a workout next week, Neil Olshey confirmed. The market for McGrady has yet to materialize after he had a mixed performance for the Knicks.

Al Harrington wanted to remain with the Knicks, but coach Mike D'Antoni had no interest in bringing him back.

"Hell no," Harrington said. "He definitely didn't want me back. That was the most obvious thing of all. We all knew that he didn't want me to be there."

Harrington agreed to a five-year, $34 million deal with the Nuggets on Tuesday night. For months, he was hoping that New York president Donnie Walsh would find a way to keep him.

He said a lack of communication with D'Antoni led to their sour relationship.

"Communication is the key with everything," Harrington added. "I respect people that tell you what it is. Don't tell me one thing and say something different to somebody else."

DeMarcus Cousins was the unquestioned best player on the court for the third straight game Wednesday night, running through the Wolves with a 22-12-5-4 line and the game-winning hook shot with less than three seconds on the clock. Three games in three nights? 18.3 points, 11.3 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and a block per game. (And, yes, three wins too.)

He also barked at Timberwolves assistant coach (and StR's favorite coach of all-time) Reggie Theus, chiding Minnesota for trying to have the incredible Greg Stiemsma get Boogie off his game by pushing and elbowing. (The ploy didn't work. Cousins' post-game evisceration of Theus might as well be a crotch chop followed by a middle finger.)

His swagger is phenomenal. His game is refreshingly developed. He cares. He's fearless. He's funny. He's 19 years old.

The agent for Timofey Mozgov was reportedly told that Eddy Curry, who is in the final season of his contract, will not receive playing time in New York.

Mosgov's agent said that his client was guaranteed a spot on the Knicks' roster, as the backup to center Ronnie Turiaf.

Amar'e Stoudemire, whom the Knicks signed to a maximum-salary contract as a free agent, was apparently assured that he will be used in his natural position at power forward.
Damn EC, I dont know if its just D'Antoni doesnt like him at all, or EC just never had the drive to get into shape. Probably a mixture of both.

Oh well, wasnt like he was in our plans after next year anyway, hopefully he can get his career back on track and become that 20 and 7 player he was before.

The Bulls now have nine players under contract and roughly $7.8 million of cap space left. They remain in discussions with Brad Miller and Kurt Thomas for big-man depth and have had talks about Rafer Alston and Jason Williams as a backup point guard.

Also on the final day of the NBA Summer League, sources confirmed a Cleveland Plain Dealer report that Minnesota is shopping guard Ramon Sessions (due $3.96 million next season) and forward Kosta Koufos (due $1.3 million), and the Cavaliers have interest in both. Sources said a deal with Cleveland could result in guard Delonte West going to the Timberwolves and then being waived since West's $4.6 million contract has only $500,000 of it guaranteed if he's waived by August 5.

and...

Matt Barnes: The versatile shooting guard has been linked to a number of teams this off-season, with the Cleveland Cavaliers becoming the latest. Reports on Saturday indicate that the Cavs and Barnes have begun contract negotiations, which could become difficult based on the number of teams that have shown interest in him. Last season for the Orlando Magic, Barnes averaged 8.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. In his seven seasons in the NBA, Barnes has played for seven teams. The Boston Celtics and Miami Heat are also said to be in the running for Barnes, but only have the veteran's minimum of approximately $1.6 million to offer, where as Cleveland and other teams could offer more.
Meh.. Dunno why we're after Matt Barnes

Don't trade Delonte!

But adding Koufos would be dope for the Cavs though

Koufos would be nice to gamble on, 7 footer with a lot of skill.

Anyway on the Barnes thing, the only use I see with him is that he pisses off every major star in the league, so maybe he can get LeBron ejected in a game or something.

and pm7, Delonte is gonna be gone. Either cut or traded, his off the court issues are too much.
