They have absolutely no 3point shooting in their starting lineup if he is going to start.

Ronnie Brewer has signed with Chicago on a three-year, $12.5 million deal. Brewer received a similar offer from the Celtics, but preferred the opportunity to possibly start for the Bulls.

Nice sign for sure, I think it's a better deal than what they would of given JJ.

Agreed. Brewer should be a nice add to that team, hopefully bolster them up to compete with a lot of teams.

Rose has been developing a three, but you're right... Brewer is not a shooter at all and while Deng is an excellent mid-range shooter, he can't hit the three consistently. Hopefully we can add another shooter to the bench to go along with Korver and I think we'll be fine. We're gonna be an athletic team that plays defense, so a few role players that can hit the three will be better than having no one that could hit the three (last year).

I don't think Brewer will start for that reason, I'm assuming Korver would get the nod cause of his 3 point shooting abilities.
But you are right, you guys should bring in another 3pt shooter for the bench. Perhaps Roger Mason?

I'm not a big fan of Korver as a starter to be honest. He's never been a full-time starter, so if we're gonna be a contender I don't think he's the answer. I wouldn't mind taking a shot on T-Mac or Josh Howard, so we could have a legit two guard, but with Rudy Fernandez requesting a trade out of Portland or whatever he's doing, he might be the best option. I'd love for our lineup to look like this -

C - Joakim Noah / Brad Miller / Omer Asik
PF - Carlos Boozer / Taj Gibson
SF - Luol Deng / Kyle Korver / James Johnson
SG - Rudy Fernandez / Ronnie Brewer
PG - Derrick Rose / ??? / Acie Law IV

Yeah that was my next suggestion, T-Mac or Howard.
Wouldn't be a bad gamble for you guys.
Low risk-high reward, depending how much you pay for them.

speaking of tmac/jhow..

The Bulls still have some room under the salary cap and sources indicate they have had discussions with representatives for Josh Howard, Shannon Brown, Rasual Butler and Tracy McGrady.

Once they turn their attention away from swingmen, the Chicago Sun-Times writes that they'll likely focus on a big man.

I was hoping this signing would lead to them shying away from JH5, to give us a better shot at signin him but I guess not.

ok, first im kinda pissed Miller signed elsewhere, but uh, yeah thatd be my first concern now TBH, backup c

also, Brewer is a GREAT starter IMO, and then Korver can pop in and take treys from either the 2 or 3 spot.

another option was starting JJ at SG, hes dropped about 20 punds, and hasnt lost any athleticism, he could be a Shannon Brown type beast, who can knock down a trey sometimes

shannon brown type beast? who said shannon brown is a beast lol. i guess if you want him like shannon then you want him running around and jacking up a fade away three at the end of the shot clock. jj and ronnie arent starters, but i bet ronnie gets the nod because of his athleticism and defense.
