I don't think Lebron's decision is an "easy route" at all. This is a huge career gamble for him and if anything he's sacrificing a ton. The guy's got people who used to cherish the ground he walked on burning his jersey of all things. He's got to justify this decision by adjusting his game, adjusting his ego, and learning to play without the ball in his hands. There's only 1 ball on the floor but he's now in a position where he's got 2 other players who command that ball just as much. I think Lebron's got a ton of pressure riding on his shoulders. If he wins an NBA with the Heat, he goes down as wise...but if he doesn't, this goes down as one of the dumbest moves in NBA history.
I think it's the easier route because he went to a team were he won't be the leader. Now he's just alot more hated then Loved around the league. It's the easy route to me because ppl like Rip are already saying he gets a chip.

More than I am just saying that Stunna. Heard quite a few NBA experts predict the Heat as well.

24 and 11 for not being on a play-off team? They only missed out on the play-offs by 1 game.

I love all the love CB4 is getting now that he joined Miami, shows how much people ignore the Raptors.

Bosh has always been overrated.. Perimeter oriented big man, soft, plays no defense.

I'm just saying, you make it seem like it's a far-fetched idea, when I'm clearly not the only one with this opinion.

It's not just you I'm just saying others like you lead me to believe that it's the easy route to a chip.

It doesnt matter they were watching the playoffs just like us. Bill simmons said it best

If one more person refers to Bosh as a "superstar," I'm going to scream. His résumé: seven seasons, 11 career playoff games, one second-team All-NBA selection, never played in a big game in his life other than the gold-medal game of the 2008 Olympics. Now he's fleeing frigid Toronto for South Beach, no state income tax, Dwyane Wade, max money and the playoffs … and this makes him a "superstar"? Did we really drop our standards that low?

I just look at all the reasons why I've hated this guy for so long and how this move negates a lot of that. I personally don't think Lebron is all that great of a leader but he's a phenomenal player. I think this move is a great move for him and I think having to adjust his own game to play along with 2 fellow All-Stars will do his career a lot of good. All this bullsh-t about him "betraying" or be "selfish" is ridiculous. The guy has his money, his endorsements, all his fame...he just wants a damn ring. Nothing wrong with wanting to taste that type of success and I can't blame any athlete that fulfills a contract and responsibility with one team...only to move onto another, in hopes of chasing a dream.

I mean who grows up and dreams of being one of the greatest players w/o a championship? Karl Malone took a ton of sh-t from Utah for chasing a ring with the Lakers but it was too little, too late. Everyone outside of Utah sympathized with the Mailman's decision to go to L.A. and you know what, Utah eventually got over it and welcomed him back.

Does Bosh have to put up like 30 and 18 to be a superstar then? Raptors were a bad team, not his fault.
If they were more successful, he would have more accolades.

See that would be fine with me if LeBron was in his 30's but dude is only 25. Who ring chases that early? He still could have brought a chip to his own hometown but he'll never recieve that honor. He just went from being a good guy who I'd be fine with seeing win a chip to a selfish guy who wants a chip even if he has to leave behind a city full of people that supported him since High School.

What is the difference on when he wants to ring chase? If he ring chased later in his career, me might of never got it. He is smart to do it now. You don't know if CLE would of ever got him the pieces to win the title. They might of, by why take that risk.

So you're saying its okay to chase a ring when you're in your 30's...but not in you're mid-20's? The guy has been in the league for 7 years, has already accomplished individual greatness, and is constantly compared to fellow greats that have the rings on their fingers. I don't see you're point.

And I don't see why you're criticizing the guy so much for not bringing in a chip to his own hometown. Jordan is a Carolina boy, Kobe is from North Philly...any rings brought into Charlotte or Philadelphia from either??

I agree, I was just saying that he's getting a lot of love now that he's out of Canada.

Chris Bosh is soft though and he won't be close to as efficient when he's a 3rd option.

He's not a superstar. Point blank......we're not playing the if game right. Superstars guarantee a average of around 45-50 wins, sell tickets, and be the best player on a contending finals team. He's a all-star yeah but thats not saying much since BJ armstrong was once a all-star. Look im not a bosh hater but he's not a superstar. There's probably only around 5-6 superstars in the league at max.

Yes, this may be the best opportunity to chase a ring Lebron will ever get. Wait too long and it might end up being too late. Wasn't it Kevin Garnett that said something about, "...loyalty means nothing when it comes to getting yourself a championship ring..."?
