I was extremely disappointed with this series and the Dodger "fans". "Yankees suck"? Really? How pathetic. This series win was gratifying for shutting those sunburned douchebags up, but it should have been a sweep.

Friday: We didn't light up Padilla like we usually do.

Saturday: Girardi the Genius skips the start of a 10-1 stud (Hughes) for Burnett who had lost five straight starts heading into that game.

Sunday: Andy finally threw a stinker and our $80 million infield couldn't even field a bunt.

EDIT: The best closer in baseball (Bloaton) giving up four runs in the 9th on national TV? Nice way to cap this beatdown off.

This was a HUGE week for us and it has shown that we are true division contenders. Beating the Tigers and Twins have proven to me that we are a team that isnt going away and we are going to be in the playoff race the whole year.

2. Stupid L.A. fans always chant "X Team Sucks". Did it with Boston Celtics, and did it with the Yankees. I find it idiotic. Obviously the Yankees dont suck, they just have nothing else to chant. every other team chants beat LA, so they go with the boring so and so sucks chant. I never do it personally

3. Broxton is the best closer in baseball sans Mariano. I've said this before, so what?
just so happens that he was tired. he didnt have it. overrated Torre is an idiot. Broxton threw a lot of pitches on Wednesday and Thursday, got Friday off, then went in a non-save situation on Saturday to get 4 outs. pathetic Torre.
Then he uses Brxon AGAIN in a non save situation when he's obviously gassed. im so mad at that

I dont care that the Yankees won. That doesnt bug me at all. only Yank I hate is ARod honestly.

just please take Torre back. He's still an NY lover. I cant stand him. It's always Yankees this, Yankees that. AL east this, AL east that, Red Sox, etc. I hate Torre.

Well, I think easily is stretching it a bit. I'm sure it will be a battle to the very end with the Tigers, Twins, White Sox... Glad to see the Tigers get the win and get the lead back in the division, feel horrible for Zumaya though...
