I agree with everything you just said. He averaged like 2 PPG in 14 MPG. That's pretty bad. I thought he was supposed to be real good?

I think your talking about jeff thats the one who played for Illnois, Marcus averaged 8.0 ppg at UCF. Their really athletic, marcus is the best kid. But neither one are stars, though marcus could be decent.

Most these kids just play the sport their dad played because thats all they know, if you grew up with a basketball player as your dad and you see him on TV and on magazine covers as you grow up of course your gonna want to be like him. Most these kids just play the sport their dad played because thats all they know, if you grew up with a basketball player as your dad and you see him on TV and on magazine covers as you grow up of course your gonna want to be like him. And I sat there expecting them to do something decent. Instead I watched EG give them 40 points and almost have as many total points as there team.

Like I said..Kobe dad's played in the league too. Kobe wasnt content of living off jellybeans name. He wanted his own name and now he's regarded as one of the best to ever touch a bball. There is no comparison if your a real bball fan. MJ is the goat. But kobe is the closest thing you'll ever see to a MJ. This is America we are constantly worried about finding "The next somebody". In Basketball The next mj's have been: Harold Miner, Grant, Penny,Kobe, VC,T-mac. Kobe's just been constantly compared to him because of the playing style, the mannerisms, the work ethic, the drive to be the best, rings.

Honestly, you can't compare Kobe and MJ. The NBA changed as a whole and there really is no way to compare their games in 2 different styles of gameplay in the NBA

In a decade no one's going to remember Kobe's bad game just like no one remembers Jordan's. All anyone's going to remember is that these guys won. That's why winning is so important in this sport because it's all anyone really remembers.
