Its the Bulls no lie, the Cavs are gunna want at least a replacement SF, so S&T with Deng, then we get another MAX, so Wade or Bosh, then Calipari comes to the Bulls with LeBron because they share the same agent and Calipari has strong ties with James and Rose. That would be a hell of chamiponship team for another 3 peat at least

The Cavs will not S&T LeBron. I'd bet my house on it.. They're not going to help LeBron out if he plans on leaving. Not to mention not for someone on a horrible contract like Deng. They'll let LeBron leave for less money if he wants to, and not help the team out he's going to.

How does it help the team he's going to? They have to trade someone to get him, when they could just sign him outright anyway. It helps the Cavs to do a S&T, because they at least get something in return, rather than losing him for nothing.

If LeBron truly wanted to stay, he would have said so. The fact that he's so up in the air makes me believe he's going elsewhere. But a lot can happen between now and July 1st.

Thats what I was thinking too

But for some reason, I think he's loving this media coverage lol. He'll just keep everyone guessing then re-sign in Cleveland.

LeBron gets more money, and it keeps cap space for the Bulls so they can sign someone else out of it.. We're not going to S&T LeBron for Luol Deng, there is a 0% chance of it happening.

Doing a S&T helps out LeBron/Bulls, we will not help him out if he leaves.

The Bulls are not going to get Bosh unless they get him in a S&T because you're losing all your cap if you get LeBron.

The only way we would trade him would be if we could get a young player we could build around most likely.. But that's not how they work, you don't get value in them.

Lebron James is going to the Knicks like Magic Johnson said so in December and then he took it back after the Cavs were eliminated he said that he was going back. So since Magic knows what hes talking about I think he is going back to the Cavs, lol.

Either way, if we get Bosh or LeBron, we have to sign and trade for one of them, so it's not like we are getting to keep Deng and get LeBron and Bosh. If we sign LeBron, then we sign-and-trade Deng or whatever for Bosh. If we sign Bosh, then we sign-and-trade whatever for LeBron. There's not really a difference, so it's not like Cleveland is helping us out, we'd be helping them out, since we could just sign LeBron and sign and trade Deng for Bosh, giving Toronto help that the Cavs could have gotten.

His contract isn't that brutal. There's like four years left and the most he'll make in a year is $14 million. If he can continue to put up 18 and 8 with solid defense, that isn't all that bad. Hey, maybe moving somewhere else will light a fire in him and he'll play like he did a few years ago when he earned this contract. He wouldn't be a terrible replacement for LeBron, he was the second best player in that high school class. LOL

I see what you mean here, but a player like Luol Deng shouldn't be replacing Lebron regardless lol

I'm not saying he would be the #1 option in Cleveland, but if LeBron is just gonna walk away to Chicago, I would at least want to do a sign-and-trade for maybe Deng and Taj Gibson, if I'm the Cavaliers.

I definitely would not take that deal... First off, no matter how you put it, Luol Deng's contract is pretty bad. He has injury problems and doesn't perform to the contract. Second, how do you tell your fans we just traded LeBron for Luol Deng? If he just leaves without a trade they can just say LeBron isn't loyal, etc.. and how he abandoned the team. A lot easier to explain to the fans.

I'd rather have nothing then Luol Deng's contract.. I'm sure the Bulls would do anything to get rid of him..
