Thats why you always hear praise for him being the most physical skilled forward out there right...

He's praised for the strength he plays with, that covers a lot of different areas on the ice not just checking. I really hope you don't think he's winning these Hart trophies for his checking.

I love debating with you about this because you're just like everyone else, never bringing up any points to explain why he's the best

Also, you bypass any knocks against him...like when I gave you a list of dirty things he's done in the past few years...still waiting on a reply to that from like a month ago

This isn't allstar voting, it's done by a selected group of sports writers. They don't take into account popularity as a statistic for judging a player's value.

You make it sound like Sidney Crosby isn't as popular. For every Ovechkin fan, there's a Crosby fan. Stop being a friggin homer, get over it, and realize that he won them because he was good.

I can't stand either of them but at least I can realize that they are both superstar players.

They both are superstar players and thats obvious

Crosby isn't nearly as popular as Ovechkin anymore...actually, people who don't watch hockey call themselves Ovechfans nowadays...well at least from what I've seen.

Well, Washington hasn't played Boston in a while. They meet in a couple weeks so it'll be back lol

Plus, the Olympics pretty much made Crosby public enemy #1.

He's a top 5 player in the league no doubt so I could easily put him up there for MVP...EASILY
