wowzers, help out a rival?!The Cavs have intensified trade talks over the past several days and have been making some progress, according to sources that spoke to Brian Windhorst of the Plain Dealer.
Several sources have said Cleveland has included the Houston Rockets and Detroit Pistons in their conversations, possibly in an attempt to set up three-team deals.
The Cavs' major targets are still believed to be forwards Antawn Jamison and Troy Murphy. But they have been having some conversations about shooting guards and the talks with the Pistons could involve Richard Hamilton.

From a Pistons forum.I was reading an article titled "Trade Buzz: 5 deals that make sense" by Chad Ford in ESPN Insider. This deal was number two:
Detroit gets: Carlos Boozer (from Utah), Josh Howard (from Dallas), Matt Carroll (from Dallas)
Utah gets: Tayshaun Prince (from Detroit)
Dallas gets: Richard Hamilton (from Detroit), Kwame Brown (from Detroit)
I concur! We think he does. Its also Dumars, I doubt he makes a move <_<
The Boston Celtics are discussing a deal with the Washington Wizards for forwards Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler, league sources told Yahoo! Sports on Friday.
The proposed deal would send the expiring contracts of Ray Allen, Brian Scalabrine and J.R. Giddens to the Wizards.
An actual trade is not yet imminent, but it represents the bold thinking of Danny Ainge ahead of the deadline.
The teams are expected to continue discussing the deal on Friday and throughout All-Star weekend.

Sources say the Bulls also are exploring interest in Luol Deng, who has four years and $51 million left after this season.
If the Bulls are able to deal both Deng and Kirk Hinrich, they would be on their way to offering two max contract slots this summer. Such a move would potentially add two superstars to the nucleus of Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah
RealGM Note: Deng has been healthy and has enjoyed a bounce-back season, but the Chicago front office has reevaluated the opinion it had of him before they extended his contract.

GS is also trying to move Andris.Portland has joined San Antonio, Denver, Charlotte, and Sacramento in the pursuit of Tyrus Thomas. One person familiar with the situation characterizing the Blazers as “close” to finding a workable scenario.
