I hope Casspi moves into the starting lineup soon. With how he's played in preseason and he had 15 off the bench in the opener in 19 minutes. He's been one of our lone bright spots. He deserves the start. Plus, Mason isn't any better.

And Greg, is there any other Rajon Rondo type of player to trade for Kevin Martin? I know Celtics wouldn't. All I could think of is Rudy Gay, but I don't see why they would do it.

I dont think Dirk would have his way with Gasol as you mention. Gasol can step back and cover the perimeter very well and he can tire out Dirk on the defensive end with his post moves. Gasol has improved where Dirk hasn't.

yeah laugh about Odom, but he gives Dirk fits. it's rare to have someone as big as Dirk guarding him well. most bigs are stiffs, not LO

and Artest gives Dirk fits.

Why wouldn't Boston do it? Rondo isn't staying in Boston after their HC ripped him and now they have beef. And Rudy Gay reportedly is not getting an extension so I'm guessing he's moveable. But I'd honestly rather have Kmart than Rondo. I'd take Gay tho. Just saying the type of player they'd ask for. I doubt Kmart leaves.
