Portland president Larry Miller has discussed a contract extension with forward LaMarcus Aldridge.

"We're going through the process," Miller told the Columbian. "It's just a process and it takes time."

When asked if the Blazers had a timeline for signing Aldridge, Miller was much more direct.

"We're ready," Miller said. "We'd do it right now if we could."

Portland must reach an agreement with Aldridge before Oct. 31 or he will become a restricted free agent following the 2009-10 season.

Raptors__News Marcus Banks / Banks may be dealt to the Mavs for Matt Carroll, the Toronto Sun reports.

I play basketball with some kid who we compare to Matt Carrol, I really believe this kid can go pro too.

But that trade is just bleh, both players are scrubs.

Well we really have no use for Banks at all, so I don't mind it. I don't know how we would use Carroll either though

Carroll didn't play for us, Banks didn't play for Raps, so it's just an irrelevant trade lol

This is why it's hard for me to back you up sometimes even though you are a fellow Laker fan.

You can't really tell if that's weed, but I would assume a kid who's 21 and worth millions would still be smoking.

Oh and that tattoo is stupid.
