Which really doesn't make sense cause 1 season removed the Pistons were more "elite" than the Cavaliers. But whatever, we are both biased towards our cities so I don't want to fight about this lol.

Pistons are average, they aren't scrubs and are a playoff team. Not a good playoff team but still one.

A division leader should be classified as an above average team, even if the record isn't great.

Detroit is 27-20 against the Central, and below .500 against the other two AL divisions, so they are in my opinion an average team playing in a bad division.. But all you have to do is get into the playoffs.
