It's believed that the Pistons, as of Thursday, have Rasho Nesterovic and Chris Wilcox ahead of Drew Gooden as their next free-agent targets, since it appears that they can't assemble an offer sheet rich enough for Glen Davis to keep the Boston Celtics from matching.

Yuck, Rasho Nesterovic no thanks. Chris Wilcox would be good for rebounding and blocking shots. Gooden would be better for offense, although we probably have enough. Gooden/Wilcox and Kwame for centers doesn't look very nice haha.

I wouldn't be mad if we got Rasho and Wilcox, We could give Wilcox a 3Mill deal for two years with a player option. And sign Rasho for two yeas for 1.5Mill. Decent depth for cheap. I mean they would help us and we aren't contending anyways.

But I'm not a fan of Dumars just bringing in Rasho, I would kill myself if that happened lol.

If we get BOTH, I'd be happy.
But just Rasho over Wilcox and Gooden and I won't be a happy camper.

Eww, yea that would make me puke lol. Maybe even both Gooden and Wilcox, but that would take up all our cap for sure.

I'd honestly prefer Gooden over getting both Wilcox and Rasho.

PG:Stuckey
SG:Rip
SF:prince
PF:CV
C:Gooden

Bench:
BG
Kwame
Bynum
Summers
Daye

Essentially last years team. I would love to see us make a trade for Chandler or Kaman..

Actually Rasho over the two might be the most plausible thing for us, if we don't have a trade prepared for a center...

If we get Gooden or Wilcox, both are pretty small. Rasho is at least a 7 footer.

Not saying I want that to happen though...

Grandy you have no idea how bad I want Kaman, Tyson wouldn't be bad but his right foot, right ankle and right big toe are totally shot and have been repaired. Plus his contract is bad since he's not a top center in the league.
But I think he'd make Stuckey look a lot better since he can get oops.

Rasho is 33 and worse then both. Gooden and Wilcox are 6'10/6'11ish and pretty much the same size as Sheed.

I was at a CMU basketball camp before his second season in the league and he came to CMU and talked to us and told us that the Clippers were going to take Livingston a week or so before the draft. Pretty cool dude, couldn't get his autograph though.

Yep, that's why I think Joe should try for

Rasho, 1.3Mill two years(second being PO)
Wilcox, 3.6Mill two years(second being PO)

I think that could get them, and Wilcox I think could play C better then Gooden.

Either way none of these 3 will do much here lol.
I want Wilcox and Gooden though <3
Ben Wallace still deserves a look though.

I think Wilcox or Gooden would get a solid 20-24MPG..

Ben is only 6'9 defeats your size post, plus he is on the decline massively.

True, but he can still play defense.
I was suggesting we sign him for the veterans minimum. He is worth that much.

I would only want him as a backup, which would mean that Kwame is starting..

Kwame will start unless we make a trade, so even if we sign Gooden or Wilcox or even Ben, they would all be backups. But throughout the season we could see a change.
