I guess it's one of those "you say tomato, I say..." kind of things. I'm 100% certain spelled is the more common use, but it doesn't matter.

Yeah. Once up in Maryland when I was at his old high school's gym and once in Durham when Georgetown was down playing Duke. I didn't really get much words in either time, but he seemed like a pretty nice guy.
