I sure hope it wont be. Although, if it is, we still win the series. Would be nice to sweep them, but 2 of 3 I can live with.

I'd rather have the sweep, with the Twins and company right behind us.

Tigers win it 3-2. Nice save by Rodney.
Sweep the Brewers. 4 wins in a row.

Now we need the Astros to hold the lead against the Twins.

The Yankees score 3 runs in the third inning to take a 3-1 lead after CC was pulled.

Indians are done. Only 6 games back going into the series with the Brewers. Bullpen blows a 5 run lead, then in the next game they blow any chance we had at coming back. Then we go to extras on the 3rd game and lose there. Blow a 7 run lead thanks to the pen on Friday capped off by the blown save by Kerry. Saturday, Kerry Wood blows the save in the 13th, and today no one seemed to care. Especially DeRosa who felt the need to strike out 3 times in his 2nd start back. At least Valbuena showed potential he can start full time in the future. Showed good pop in his swing, made good contract, 6-14 in the series.

Wedge needs to go, and we need to dump everyone but Matt Herges from the bullpen.

You should start by dumping Cliff Lee, we'll gladly take him, lol.

Royals have been outscored 53-21 in the last 5 games

We have allowed 10 or more runs in 4 of the last 5 games

DeRosa and Pavano are the only two I expect to be traded. Come with some good prospects next year for Lee lol.
Yea DeRosa is definitely gone this year, I dont see a need for him to stay in Cleveland. I think the Indians will keep Pavano, he might be able to continue to progress.

I'm sure if we offered a good contract for DeRosa he would consider, but we wouldn't offer a big contract knowing we have a good young core in the infield with Valbuena - Asdrubal - Peralta. Not to mention we rarely give out big contracts. Hopefully we can get a good young arm for the bullpen for DeRosa.
