Because Laffey doesn't know how to throw strikes, he keeps extending innings and now he pays for it. One little thing always bites us in the ass, and its never the same thing.

Indians come right back with a 5 run inning after the Tigers get one. The LF on the Tigers slipped on a fly ball with the bases loaded then got up and dropped the catch to make it 5-3. Then Choo lines one into right and Magglio decides to dive and misses badly resulting in a triple for Choo, making it 5-5.

There's no power to speak of, and very little speed; plus a lot of personal baggage. Callaspo makes a lot of contact, but that might not be enough to keep him ahead of Willie Bloomquist on the depth chart all season long, assuming the mysterious health issues don't flare up again, that is.
