Wow. Big Ten changes every day. Rankings obviously dont mean a thing in these games.

Last night #5 MSU gets manhandled by #22 Purdue 72-54.

and tonight, Penn State beats #16 Illinois 38-33.

With this kind of stuff happening, it helps MSU secure the Big Ten title even more, in a sense. Even if they lose, if the teams that are close to them lose as well, it doesn`t help either side. I`d be suprised if MSU didn`t win the Big Ten Reg. Season Title.

Haha, I know, when I saw that, I had to double-check to make sure it was the final.

Big Ten has definately improved all around, with the exception of Indiana, as a better basketball Conferenece. Hopefully this continues.

Well you could say the Big Ten has improved, thats one way of looking at a pathetic 38-33 performance where neither team shot over 30%. These are guys on scholarships and your telling me all they can put up is 38? Heck, I could score 7 points in a game, which was Illinois' leading scorer. Bottom line is that it was a terrible showing by both teams, specifically Illinois, who came in ranked No. 18. You cant lose to Penn State, on your home court, score a measly 33 points and hope to be considered seriously.

Duke's Nolan Smith out indefinitely after nasty collision. He was pressuring by himself in the back-court, and was ran right into a pick that knocked him out, and gave him a concussion. It was a clean play, but Duke's Brian Zubek should have been with his man, and calling out the pick to Smith.
