Wow, the Cavs are retarded. I would of just laughed and hung up the phone if I was the Nets.
Why? The Nets are rebuilding, no need for a guy making so much money over a 4 year span, when you can just have that go away in one year. But the Nets think they are going to get a couple young assests for him, now thats laughable.

I understand that, but I think VC is too valuable to only be trading him for Wally, they could get much more for him...like some young talent, picks...etc.

if the Nets really want LBJ in '10, they're better off trading VC elsewhere...

The only way LBJ will leave is if Cleveland is stinking and not bringing him any help. THen he could POSSIBLY go to a contender, but only somewhere that he thinks is a contender. (which probably won't be NJ)

I'll put it like this NJ has a solid market and the jay-z connection working for them.

Yea, but Cleveland is his hometown, plus he loves it there and seems like a pretty loyal person.

NJ WILL be a contender by the time LBJ opts out of his contract. I wouldn't count on Cleveland bringing in more help for him.

I'm pretty sure iif the money was right and nj were a contender by 2010 he would leave. i dont see cleveland making a big move like that t osatisfy him.

Good thing is, i'll be back in 2010, and then we will see if anything happens. (I don't think it will)

To be honest, I would rather take Wally taking 20 shots a game than VC taking 20 shots a game, wally takes shots that make sense, Vince throws up fade-aways when he feels like it. The Nets should do this but there would be no one in the seats because no one would be left with the potential to make a highlight reel. There would also be no jerseys to sell. Also, if the Nets don't get Lebron in 2010, there are possibilities in Wade, Bosh and Amare.

Yea we all know LeBron needs money, so he's going to that big market  He'll make just as much money in Canada that he'd make in New Jersey, please. He wont leave Cleveland for a market. The only reason he would leave is if he doesn't feel that Cleveland will ever be a contender and that is it. His entire family is in Akron, most of his loyal friends are there, and its where he grew up.
