If the Pistons get CDR instead of Walker, I will be the happiest kid in the world.

I'm glad there was no "no homo" crap in that statement.

Person probably would of been better.

Donnie Nelson said it's been "a very, very active last 48 hours" for the Mavs' front office. Dallas doesn't have a deal done, but it has laid the foundation to make a deal if the circumstances are right.

"We do have some trigger points set up," Nelson said, adding that any moves the Mavs make would probably be to get a pick in the latter half of the first round. "If the right player is there, we'll be active in trying to do something."

Lil' Nellie acknowledged that there's a pretty good chance the Mavs would just wait to make their pick at No. 51. And they'll take the "best player regardless of color, creed or country of origin." He listed every position except power forward as a need.

In conclusion, there's a chance the Mavs will make a deal to move into the first round, so refresh on this here blog repeatedly throughout the night. But be prepared to wait a few hours before the Mavs get on the clock.
On the Mavs blog from someone who just spoke with Donnie Nelson. He works for the DMN
