If DeAndre develops, it'll be scary. And I'm not being biased. He has all the signs of being the next Dwight Howard. Will just take time to develop it.

Start Samuel and develop DeAndre for the next couple years
i know if he became the next dwight you could pencil us in for a few finals appearances in the future. Seriously we would be the team of the east.

Dwight was still huge when he was drafted..

DeAndre is more lengthy and lanky than Dwight is.

He's not as buff or strong but like I said Dwight wasn't that strong when he came in the draft.

Plus Jordan's gained like 10 pounds of muscle this spring so he's already stronger then all those clips

Then why is he such a project, when Dwight wasn't labeled to be one..?

They're not the exact same.

Defensively they are the same coming into the league. DeAndre's offensive game isn't as developed. He can throw it down and grabs a lot of rebounds......but he needs to work on his post moves.

I like to say he's Dwight Howard like, but is a project like Bynum.

If he gets developed. In a few years we could be talking about a steal.

Dwight already had a body suited for the NBA.

I would say he resembles Dwight, but unless he's able to bulk up, he'll only be a average player throughout his career. I dont think his offensive game will ever be too good. But a rebounder/shotblocker is what he most likley thrive at in the NBA.

I never said he would be. I said if he develops, he could be an All-Star. He's not as polished as Dwight Howard and won't be as dominate, but he's still going to be a beast once he develops in the next few years

From realgm.com
The Grizzlies are looking to trade down, according to Chad Ford of ESPN.

Memphis is in talks about a trade that would send the No. 5 pick to New Jersey for the No. 10 pick and a future first-round pick.

Even if you look at Dwight's offensive game, he just dunks...i'm pretty sure Jordan can dunk.

Difference is the strength factor, Howards able to overpower most opponents. That wont be the case for Jordan.

Now he can be used the same way Chandler is in New Orleans (which is probably a better comparison then D12)

At 51 for the Mavs I'm now hoping we select this kid from the Flint Tropics. Named Jackie Moon
